Offene Einspritzdüse an Verbrennungskraftmascbinen.
Open injection nozzle on internal combustion engines. The present invention relates to an open nozzle on internal combustion engines and consists in the fact that a guide body provided with a shoulder is arranged in a sleeve-shaped intermediate piece in a space in front of a nozzle plate, which holds it in a certain distance from the nozzle plate.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in cross section, namely: Fig. 1 shows an open nozzle on an engine cylinder, Fig. 2 'an open nozzle on an intake pipe.
According to Fig.l is on the nozzle holder 1, which has the connection for: the fuel supply line 2, the nut 3 is screwed. This union nut contains the nozzle plate 4, the guide body 5 provided with a shoulder and the sleeve-shaped intermediate piece 6, which holds the guide body 5 at a certain distance from the nozzle plate 4.
The guide body 5 is seen on the outside with helical grooves 11 and fitted into the intermediate piece 6. The parts 4 and 6 are pressed oil-tight to the flat surface 7 of the nozzle holder 1 by the union nut 3 with the guide body. The union nut 3 has a conical seat surface 9 on the outside, which rests tightly against a corresponding surface in the cylinder head 8.
The necessary contact pressure is generated by means not shown, which bind the nozzle holder 1 with the cylinder head 8 ver.
The fuel flows from the pressure line 2 via bores in the nozzle holder 1 and in the guide body 5 into an annular channel 10 and from here to the helical grooves 11 on the outside of the guide body 5. Through these grooves it passes in front of the nozzle plate 4 and through the opening of the latter direct in the engine cylinder.
The nozzle shown in Figure 2 is used to inject gasoline into the intake manifold of an engine. The inner parts are designed similarly to the nozzle according to FIG. 1, on the other hand, the union nut 12 is screwed into a socket 13 of the suction pipe 14 and lies tightly on this approach on its end face.
The union nut carries a connection nipple 15 for the fuel supply line, not shown, which holds the inner parts of the nozzle together with the interposition of a sealing ring 16.
These open nozzles shown are characterized by good atomization of the fuel and very little space required.
