Vessel made of plastic material before deformation, with drip suction device. There are known drip catching devices on vessels, which consist of pan-like structures arranged on the lower part of the vessel, which hold drops running down from the pouring organ.
In practical use, however, it was found that after two times the liquid was dispensed, the drops running down the jug overfill the barrier-like pans lying in their way and penetrate to the base of the vessel and, among other disadvantages, also for example with coffee or tea leave a dark colored stripe, namely if the first pan is occupied by a drop, the drop will automatically overcome this barrier when the vessel is tilted again and move on to the next one, and so on. The respective preceding barrier will then be filled with a new drop.
The invention aims to overcome these disadvantages. The object of the invention forms a vessel made of plastic material before the deformation such as porcelain or other ceramic material, which is used to hold drinks, and has a drip catcher.
This Ge vessel is characterized in that one or more projections, for example in the form of pegs, strips, barriers or the like on the underside of the pouring organ, * such as spout, pouring spout or the like, in the vicinity of the sen Muzzle are arranged, for the purpose that a drop of liquid can hold between the edge of the pouring opening and the projection.
The distance between the projection and the edge of the pouring opening is preferably about 5 to 25 mm, depending on the size of the vessel. If several projections are arranged, the distance between the second and the first is approximately equal to the distance between the first and the edge of the pouring spout. An advantageous embodiment of the drop catching device consists in the fact that the upwardly directed surface of the projections is deepened and drawn in width and forms a channel in order to draw in width a drop that has reached it and to enlarge its surface.
The subject of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing using an exemplary embodiment, specifically showing: FIG. 1 a partial side view, and FIG. 2 a partial view from below, FIG. 3 a variant of the drip catching device.
The only partially shown teapot a has a spout b, on the underside of which near the pouring mouth two projections d 1 and d 2 are provided. b1 denotes the lower edge of the spout of the spout b. With the special arrangement of the projections d ,. and d @ the drop will always collect in the channel between the lower edge b, the spout of the spout b and the first projection dl after a certain amount of liquid has been poured out.
If the jug a is now tilted again for the purpose of dispensing more liquid, the drop has the tendency to run up on the spout and as a result unites with the jet of the flowing out liquid. After the end of the pouring out, a new drop of the same size collects between parts b and d.
The further projection d2 is provided for safety reasons, since when the jug is firmly placed on its base, the drop could overcome the first projection d1 and now get stuck between the projections d1, d. =, Etc. Further projections can also be provided.
Obviously, the whole process takes place in the immediate vicinity of the pouring opening, in such a way that liquid can never flow further downwards and cause annoying soiling of the base or spout.
The illustrated and described exemplary embodiment makes some changes appear possible.
In the variant shown in Fig. 3, the overhead surface of the jumps d ,. and d, a recess c, which forms a channel to draw a drop that has got there and its width. To enlarge surface.
