Injection valve device for internal combustion engines. The subject matter of the invention is an injection valve device for internal combustion engines. In known devices of this type, the path of the injection fuel from a spring-loaded needle valve is prevailing.
If the installation space for the equipment is limited, the loading spring of the needle valve often cannot be accommodated in its immediate vicinity, so that the spring force has to be transmitted to the needle valve by a pressure rod. Such a push rod, however, increases the inertia of the valve, so that in the event of a sudden interruption of the fuel flow it does not shut off the fuel path quickly enough.
According to the invention, the path of the injection fuel is dominated by at least two concentrically arranged Ven valves. If every valve is loaded by a closing force, then it is practical if the moving mass of the valve with the smaller closing force in relation to this closing force is smaller than the moving mass of the valve with the greater closing force in relation to the latter.
That, one of the two valves can be loaded with a closing spring, which is based on a shoulder of the other valve. In this case, the force of this closing spring in relation to the mass moving with the valve is expediently greater than the closing force of the other valve in relation to the total mass moving with both valves. The stroke of one of the two valves can be limited by a shoulder of the other. If the inner of the two valves is in the outer and this in the valve housing, give @so he. small dimensions and a simple structure of the device.
Both valves can have a common: seat; this can be. One of the two valves can be made of light metal.
The drawing shows an embodiment example of the invention in longitudinal section.
The fuel coming through the line 1 from the fuel pump (not shown) passes through the channel 2 of the nozzle holder 3, the bore 4 of the valve housing 5, the valve chamber 7 and the channel 8 to the nozzle openings 9. When entering the channel 8 is the fuel path from the two concentrically arranged valves 10 and 11 dominated. The inner valve 10 is guided in the outer valve 11 and this in the valve housing 5. The flat seat surface 12 is common to both valves 10 and 11. The valve 11 is loaded by a closing spring 13, which is supported on a shoulder 14 of the valve 10, while the closing spring 15 acts on this via the push rod 16 and the spring plate 1.7.
A shoulder 1.8 of the valve 10 delimits the stroke of the valve 11. This has a conical twist 19, by means of which the pressure prevailing in the valve chamber 7 acts with a component in the direction of the valve axis for the purpose of opening and keeping the valve 11 open, even when it is closed .. To reduce its mass, the valve 1.1 is expediently made of light metal.
The projection of the pressure in the chamber 7 with the valve closed from the set surface of the conical twist 19 on a plane perpendicular to the valve axis be carries about half of the Gesamtquerschnit th of the valve 11 perpendicular to its axis. The force exerted by the spring 1.5 on the valve 10 is advantageously five times the force with which the closing spring 13 presses on the valve 11.
The mass moved with the latter, namely the mass of the valve 11 yellow and half of the pale spring 13, is advantageously the ninth part of the mass moved with the valve 10: this is composed of the masses of the valve 10, the push rod 16 and of the spring plate 17, half the mass of the spring 13 and half the mass of the 'closing spring 15. The entire ge with both valves 10 and 11 be moved mass is ten times the mass moved with the valve 11.
The force of the closing spring 13 loading the valve 11 is thus twice as great in relation to the mass moved with the valve 11 as the closing force of the valve 10 in relation to the entire mass moved with the two valves 10 and 11. The changes in the forces exerted by the springs 13 and 15 during the stroke movement of the valves 10 and 11 are negligible.
The device described works as follows: At the beginning of the injection, the fuel pump delivers fuel through the line 1 and the bores 2 and 4 and increases the pressure in the valve chamber 7 until the pressure acting on the surface 19 overcomes the closing force of the spring 13. The valve 11 then rises from its seat 12 and rests on the shoulder 18 of the valve 10.
Despite this, the pressure force acting on valve 11 has doubled because now the entire cross-sectional area of valve 11. is exposed to the fuel pressure, and this force is transmitted to the valve 10 via the shoulder 18, this does not yet open because of its greater load; the fuel path remains blocked. Only when the fuel pressure z. B.
To ensure good atomization, two and a half times the amount of the pressure required to open the valve 11 has risen, Gich lifts the valve 10 from the seat 12 and allows the fuel to be injected through the nozzle openings 9. This; is interrupted by the line 1 and thus the valve chamber 7 is relieved from the fuel pressure ent by the fuel pump.
Since the effective in the opening sense force thus no longer applies, the Fe of the 13 begins the valve 11 and the spring 15, the valve 10 including the push rod 16, the spring plate 17, the spring 13 and the valve 11 to accelerate in the closing direction. Because of the above-explained ratio of the spring forces to the masses to be accelerated, the acceleration of the valve 11 is faster than that of the valve 10. The leading valve 11 blocks the fuel path earlier than the valve 10 and thereby prevents the ingress of combustion gases from the Cylinder of the internal combustion engine through the Düsenöffnun gene 9 into the valve chamber 7, the bore 4 and further back.
Only afterwards does the more inert valve 10 come onto its: seat.
The injection valve device could also be designed in such a way that each of the two valves would be loaded by a special closing spring which would not mutually influence one another. In this case, the moving mass of the valve 16 with the smaller closing force in relation to this closing force would be smaller than the moving mass of the valve with the greater closing force in relation to it.
Instead of the spring 15, a liquid pressure or an externally actuated control element could also exert a closing force on the valve 10.
