Contact wire holder for electric railways. The introduction of the trolleybus requires the catenary, usually the self-supporting line, to be adapted to the new type of operation, which differs from the railways. This fact leads to new constructions of various line construction components.
The present invention relates to a contact wire holder, with or without insulation, which has stops and tabs on the main body, which are intended to transfer the forces from the contact wire to the support member of the contact wire holder. On one of these Lap pen an arbitrarily shaped arm can be attached by a screw, the closed end of which is built so that one of several faces of this end rests against the stop and so gives the arm a certain direction with respect to the bolt axis.
The figures listed below illustrate, as an example embodiment of the subject matter of the patent, a versatile contact wire holder that allows all types of suspension of the contact wire.
Fig. 1 shows the main body in the view, and Fig. 2 in plan. The metal body a encloses the insulator d and carries the tabs b like the stops c. In the insulator d sits the bolt e, which is used to attach the contact wire clamp.
Fig. 3 and 4 show an embodiment form of the arm mentioned for attachment to a cross tensioning wire.
The position of the arm is conditioned by the horizontal forces. The two rollers y on the arm, like the groove f on top of the main body, are used to guide the cross tensioning wire, while with the two jaws aufwei send clamp, Fig. 5, this can be clamped. The clamp is inserted into the free screw hole of a rag.
The other figures show some application examples. Thus: Fig. 6 shows the flexible suspension on any support member, Fig. 7 shows the assembly on a cross tensioning wire. Since there are no side forces on the contact wire, the arm is horizontal, Fig. 8 the same assembly as Fig. 7, but the arm is down to transfer the forces acting on the driving wire in the direction of the arrow to the cross-tensioning wire, Fig. 9 as 7 and 8, but the arm is up, because the forces acting on the contact wire act opposite to those in Fig. 8,
Fig. 10, the contact wire bracket is rigidly connected to the support member, Fig. 11, two holders are connected to each other and suspended movably, Fig. 12, two holders are mounted on a cross tensioning wire and transmit horizontal forces to the cross tensioning wire, Fig. 13 As in Fig. 12, but the holders are mounted at a different height.
