Description
High frequency interference suppression choke. The invention relates to high-frequency interference suppression chokes, in particular for strong currents, in which the path of the lines of force runs in a ferromagnetic material suitable for high-frequency fields. So far, such coils made of round wire were wound in several layers on top of and next to each other, mainly to keep the winding capacity low. Since round wire has an unfavorable winding factor, such coils take up a lot of space and are heavy.
The invention avoids this disadvantage by using a ribbon-shaped conductor which is wound in one plane. Because the winding capacity is increased somewhat, but this is accepted because of the reduction in weight and space saving in vehicles, especially aircraft, for which the subject matter of the invention is mainly intended, especially since with the same coil cross-section the flat wire coil a considerably greater inductance is achieved, as with a round wire coil.
In the figure, an embodiment example of the subject matter of the invention is provided. a is a bobbin made of a ferromagnetic material suitable for high frequency fields, e.g. B. from a mixture of iron powder and insulating material. Several turns of insulated aluminum flat wire b are wound on the body. The coil body can be made from a single piece or from several disks, two of which then rest on the outside of the winding, while one or more disks are inserted as a core inside the winding.
