Patent Nr. 165328 be kannt.
Steht also kein Leitungswähler einer bestimmten
Leitung c2., 5m4-10, 1s', Wicklung I des Relais U', -.
Fig. 6 dargestellten Leitungs- wähler zusammenzuarbeiten.
I>l m,1, f,</I> Magnet S, -.
-I-, <I>b, i,</I> 3p, Bürste des Gruppenvählers, a-Ader, 1s' (Fug. 8), 4m4-10, Magnet F', -.
Telephone system with newspaper voters and subscriber lines divided into groups. The main patent No. 168580 describes a telephone system with voters and lines divided into groups, in which mutual assistance of the voter groups is made possible by the fact that the lines of each management group except in one voter group are equally multiple in another voter group - are switched. Each group of voters receives two equally trained part multiples,
the composition of which differs from voter group to voter group. In the case of line selectors, in which two groups of subscriber lines are often connected according to this patent, the device is expediently made such that the lines of a hundred subscriber lines are connected in the first submultiple of the voters of a line group, which voters are indicated by the code number of this I3un - which subgroup can be selected in the upstream group selectors.
The lines of this group of hundreds are also connected to the second submultiple of the voters of one or more other groups of line voters that are selected by other code numbers in the upstream groups of voters.
In addition, all of the lines in the second part can be connected to the adjacent line selector group, or if the hundreds of lines are subdivided into subgroups, these subgroups can be connected alternately from subgroup to subgroup in different line selector groups.
In these circuit arrangements for line selectors, the upstream group selectors must perform a further group selection movement after selecting a line selector group for the temporary operation in order to be able to occupy a line selector in whose second submultiple the desired subscriber line is also connected.
To solve this problem, the invention provides a blocking of this line selector for upstream group selectors if the line selector in a group is not already there, which block prevents the initiation of the free searcher selection of the upstream group selector on the line selector of this group. This blocking also makes the vorgeord designated group selector suitable for setting to another line selector group, in whose second sub-multiple the desired line is also connected.
Some embodiments of the inven tion are explained below. These exemplary embodiments are based on voters with a flat bank multiple and a multiple brush switching element that can be moved up and down in front of its contact rows. When it is set, this switching element moves downwards under the influence of its own weight.
However, the invention is by no means restricted to the application of the kind voters, but can also be implemented with other voter designs.
The drawings illustrate: FIGS. 1 and 2 each have a multiple brush selector for 100 or 200 lines; Fig. 3 is the circuit diagram of a connection between a subscriber set and a Stramstossträger over a there between arranged call seeker, Fig. 4 and 5, the circuit diagram of each group penwählers for 100 respectively. 200 lines,
which advances to the next line selector group when the desired line selector group is blocked, FIG. 6 shows the circuit diagram of a line selector for 200 lines, which can work together with one of the group selectors of FIGS. 4 and 5, FIG. 7 shows the circuit diagram of a group selector lers for 200 lines,
which, when the desired line selector group is blocked, selects a different line selector group depending on the tens digit of the desired subscriber line, FIG. 8 shows the circuit diagram of a line selector for 200 lines, which can work together with a group selector according to FIG. 7:
The voter multiple with the voter according to FIG. 1 consists of five sub-banks, each with two line groups, the numbering of which corresponds to the numbers 1 and 6, 2 and 7, etc. Each line group contains ten lines. On the left side of the selector multiple, a switching element with five sets of brushes B and a push rod T is shown schematically.
The same switching elements can also be attached to the other side of the multiple. The switching element shown is in the rest position, in which the contact-making free ends of the brush springs to the contact lamellas of their line groups have steadily increasing distances, which are characterized by the characters y2, y3, y5.
The brush sets are usually lifted from the contact lamellas and are only approached when a corresponding lever is briefly pushed by the finger F of the bumper mentioned. The points of action of the levers of the individual brush sets also have steadily increasing distances from the associated push fingers, which are identified by the characters xl, <I> x2, .. x5 </I>. Each brush set B are assigned two fingers F, which are spaced z5 apart.
The Arabic index numbers on the designations x, y and z of the individual distances also indicate the size of these distances, expressed in switching steps of the switching element S.
During the downward movement of the switching element, both the brush sets in front of the contact lamellas of their achievable line group and the points of action of the levers in front of their only reachable push fingers. If the switching element is moved further, the brush sets come again one after the other in front of the second accessible push fingers, so that each brush set can be made effective in two positions.
The arrangement for the twice as large voter multiple according to FIG. 2 is very similar. This multiple comprises ten sub-banks, the line groups of which are numbered 11 and 21, 12 and 22 etc. on the right, while the switching element has ten sets of brushes and the bumper ten sometimes carry two pens. The distance 210 between the second reachable pins and the first reachable pins is ten switching steps in this case. It should be noted that the switching element of the selector according to FIG. 2 is in the zero position by one switching step higher than that according to FIG. 1.
Therefore, all the distances (y3, <B> y4, ..) </B> of the brush sets from their first lamellas and also the distances (x2, x3, x4 <B> .... </B>) of the points of action are the lever of the push fingers is one switching step larger than in Fig. 1.
The switching element is released for the adjustment movements by a pawl controlled by an electromagnet, which engages in a toothed rack connected to the brush holding element. These movements can be stepping or sliding movements according to the duration of the excitation of the magnet. The bumper is moved by a temporary action of a control switch, not shown, when this switch runs through certain positions by its own electromagnet.
In the voter the presence of an auxiliary switching element is also assumed, which moves together with the brush switching element after a set of brushes takes effect. A voter with these additional facilities is by the Swiss. U.S. Patent No. 165328.
In the following description of the current flows, contacts of the rack are denoted by k, contacts of the control switch with m and contacts of the auxiliary switch with n. These contacts, like the others, are in the rest position. The letters <I> k, m </I> and n with added digits each indicate the switch positions in which these contacts are operated.
When picking up the handset on the participant merapparat (Fig. 3), the subscriber line is connected through a call finder <I> AS </I> in a known manner with a set of devices for power surge and speech transmission. The relay A is in this case via the subscriber loop and the relay Q in. The calling and blocking circuit via relay T it excites. The circuits via the outgoing lines a, b, c are closed. When dialing the number, the impulse relay <I> A, </I> oscillates, the relay <I> Y </I> responds and, like the relay Q, is kept energized for the duration of the series of impulses.
When the relay A responds again after the first drop in its anchor, the first current surge goes from + via the normally open contact v, capacitor K, normally open contact and line a and a setting magnet F to follow the selector to -. The routing of this circuit via a capacitor has the special purpose of limiting the current surges to a certain length, which ensures a step-by-step adjustment of the voters and thereby enables
that the setting magnets of the voters do not need large currents. The capacitor K is discharged via a resistor w each time the relay A drops. For the duration of each series of current impulses, a current of + also flows via the normally open contact v, the second transformer winding, the line b, a control magnet S of the following selector to -.
1. The 100-part group selector shown in FIG. 4 is able to work together with the 200-part line selector shown in FIG. For a better understanding of the switching operations, the representations of FIGS. 4 and 6 are to be laid next to one another.
In the line selector according to FIG. 6, two 100 groups of subscriber lines are connected. The first 100-group is arranged in the first sub-manifold of the line selector, while the other 100-group is connected in the second sub-manifold of the line selector. In order to be set to the contacts of this second group of 100, the line selector must perform an additional setting movement of ten switching steps after selecting the brush set corresponding to the group of ten.
The multiple switching of the double groups of subscriber lines via the individual line selectors is made in this embodiment in such a way that the 100 group of lines connected in the first submultiple of a line selector group is also connected in the second submultiple of the line selector group following in the group selection direction. So there is no line voter for a specific one
Line selector group is available for the connection, then the upstream group selector according to FIG. 4 must be switched to the following line selector group for the temporary operation. The structure of the group selector shown in FIG. 4 corresponds to the principle illustrated in FIG. 1.
He also has a group test brush GP which, during the first adjustment movement of his switching element, brushes over a contact bank to whose contacts a group test line g is connected for each line selection group to be selected.
When the in Fig. 3 Darge presented current impulse transmitter is occupied after the response of the relay Q in the group selector of FIG. 4 relay C is energized. As already described, the relay A is energized in the first case from the relay A of the surge transmitter (Fig. 3) relay Y and thereby the b-wire of the connecting line is placed on the contact v to voltage.
This causes the group selector of FIG. 4 to excite the magnet <B> S </B> of the control switch, which responds. The control switch is constructed in such a way that it advances one step to the next position both when excited and when its magnet 5 is de-excited. During the transmission of a series of impulses, the control switch magnet S remains excited via the b-wire.
so that the control switch is in position 1. The current impulses sent over the a-wire influence the switching magnet F of the group selector, whereby a step-by-step adjustment of the switching element is effected. If, for example, three current pulses are sent, then the third brush from the top of the group selector is now in front of the start of the third contact field. After the first series of impulses, relay Y of the impulse transmitter drops out again, interrupting the circuit for the control switch termagneten .S \, so that it drops out and the control switch is switched to position <B> 2 </B>.
In this position 2, the contact lira2 of the control switch is closed and the winding I of a relay <I> U </I> and the group test brush GP of the selector with the control switch magnet S are thereby connected. There are now two cases to be distinguished: 1st case: A line selector from the selected line selector group is ready to set up a connection.
In this case, the group test line g in the line selector is connected to the positive terminal of the battery via the contacts 17z1 to 37 and 4c '(FIG. 6). Winding I of relay U is thus short-circuited via the group test line when the control switch contact lmz2 is closed and is not able to respond.
The control switch magnet S, however, responds in the circuit formed by the group test line g and causes the control switch to advance to position 3, from which the control switch immediately changes to position 4, since an excitation circuit for the magnet S 'in the Position 3 does not exist.
When the control switch changes from position 3 to 4, the push rod mentioned in the description of FIG. 1 is briefly rotated so that the brush set selected by the first setting movement of the group selector is influenced by the associated push finger and for making contact is made effective. At the same time, an auxiliary switch is coupled to the switching element, which takes part in the further movement of the switching element.
In position 4 of the control switch, an excitation circuit for the A setting magnet F is closed: -, Magnet F, 3k1-37, 47n4-10, 3n16, 2p, -j-. In this circuit, the A solenoid F is constantly energized and releases the switching element for the execution of a uniform movement.
At the same time, the control switch is moved to position 5, because the magnet S was excited via contacts 3.n4 and 1k1-5. From position 5, the control switch immediately moves to position 6, since the magnet .S is not kept energized in position 5.
As soon as the activated brush of the group selector meets the contacts of a free line selector of the selected line selector group, relay P in the test circuit responds: -I-, 1n1-10, 5m5-6, both windings of relay P, 3c, test brush, line c , 27ei-37 of the line selector (Fig. 6), relay <B> C </B>, -. Relay P short-circuits its high-resistance winding with contact 1p in a known manner, thereby blocking the selected line selector.
Contact 2p interrupts the excitation circuit for the setting magnet F, so that the switching element on this contact is stopped.
If the first setting movement of the group selector did not select the third line selector group by means of three number current impulses, but for example the sixth line selector group by means of six number current impulses, then, as has already been explained with reference to FIG. 1, the control transition switch from position 3 to position 4, the top brush set of the group selector is made effective by the temporary actuation of the bumper.
However, this set of brushes is still at a distance of five switching steps from the sixth contact bank of the group selector to which the desired line selector group is connected. The switching element of the group selector must therefore only perform an additional movement of five switching steps before the test on the contacts swept by the brush set may take place. For this purpose, the number current impulses change when the switching element is set. more than five switching steps of the control switch in position 4, because contact 1k1-5 is open.
The excitation circuit for the setting magnet F is closed as in the aforementioned case. The test circuit is only closed via the contact 2n6-15 on the sixth step of this uniform movement of the switching element, so that the five contacts of contact bank 1 of the group selector are dead overflowed. With the energization of relay P, relay <B> C </B> is also energized in the line selector (FIG. 6).
At the beginning of the further current impulse, the b-wire in the impulse transmitter (Fig. 3) is grounded by means of the contact v, so that the control switch termagnet S "of the line selector is excited via the contacts 4p and 47n4-10 (Fig. 6) Since contact 6m2-10 of the group selector is open, the control switch magnet <B> S </B> of the group selector is not affected.
The control switch magnet S "is excited, closes its contact 1s' and causes the control switch to switch to position 1.
The current surges run through the a-wire again. The setting magnet F of the group selector is not affected, as contact 7m2-10 of the group selector is open. On the other hand, the numbers act on the setting magnet F 'of the line selector and cause the switching element to be adjusted gradually. If, for example, five current impulses are sent out, then at the end of the current impulse series the fifth set of brushes of the line selector is in front of the fifth contact bank. At the end of the series of impulses, the control switch magnet S 'is de-energized again and the switching of the control switch to position z.
When changing from position 1 to position 2, the push rod of the line selector is temporarily actuated so that the selected fifth set of brushes is influenced and made effective for making contact. At the beginning of the second series of impulses, the control switch magnet S 'is again excited via the b-wire and switches the control switch to position 3.
The current impulses act again on the setting magnet Zf "via the closed contact 1s'; at the end of the current impulse, the control switch goes to position 4 as a result of de-excitation of the control switch magnet S 'and closes the test circuit via the relay P' via contact 22n4 .
The control switch is switched from position 4 in the circuit +, 1y, 1c ', 32-n4-5, magnet S', -, immediately switched to position 5, in which position it is held by constant excitation of the magnet S '. The test only takes place during the transition of the control switch from position 4 to 5. If the line is free and relay P 'has responded, ringing current is now sent via the closed contact 2s' of the control switch magnet.
The ringing alternating current runs through the windings of the relay Y, which however cannot respond to the 'VG alternating current, because the lower winding is short-circuited via the contact 2s'. As soon as the called subscriber answers, direct current flows in the known manner over the '\ #, tickings of the relay <I> Y. </I> Relay <I> Y </I> is excited, interrupts the excitation of the with contact 1y Control switch magnet S ', so that it falls off,
switch off the call current with contact 2s' and move the control switch to position 6. The release of the connection depends on the calling party. However, these processes are not of interest to the understanding of the invention.
2nd case: If the group selector is set to the third line selector group, no line selector is available for further setting in this group. In this case, the contacts llc1-3Z and 4c 'ge open in the line selectors of this group. The group test lead g is therefore not earthed. As soon as the control switch of the group selector goes to position 2 after the first current surge series, an excitation of the relay U is now effected via the winding I, which is not, as in the previous case, short-circuited via the group test line g.
Relay U responds together with the control switch magnet S and switches a holding circuit via contact 1z4 of its winding II. The contact 2u causes the setting magnet F: -a-, 2m2, 2u, magnet F, - to be excited, so that the switching element is lowered by a further step.
The excitation of the magnet 1 'takes place only for a short time, since the magnet S was excited at the same time as the relay U and the control switch switches to position 3, from which it changes to position 4 in the absence of further excitation of the relay S. When the control switch moves from position 3 to position 4, the group selector's bumper is temporarily actuated again.
Although the switching element was lowered by three switching steps by the first setting movement of the group selector, the fourth brush set from the top is now influenced, since the switching element is switched by a further step through the contact 22s. So it won't be the brush set.
which is assigned to the desired third line selector group is made effective, but the brush set which is assigned to the fourth line selector group. The desired 100 group of subscriber lines is connected to the second submultiple of this fourth line selector group. A free line in this line selector group is selected as described above.
After finding a free line, relay P responds, blocks the line selector with contact 1p and switches the speech wires through with contacts 3p and 4p. The contact 'p causes the de-excitation of the setting magnet F and the de-excitation of the relay U. Relay U is equipped with a deceleration and therefore keeps its armature still attracted when the contact 3p closes.
As a result, a relay L "is energized in the occupied line selector (Fig. 6): -f-, 32c, 3p, group selector brush. Line c2., 5m4-10, 1s ', winding I of the relay U', -.
Relay <I> U '</I> uses its contact <I> 2u' </I> to place its winding II in a holding circuit which runs via contact 1c 'of the relay <B> C </B> which has meanwhile been excited . The relay U of the group selector has thus evaluated the blocking given by the occupied line selector group in order to switch the brushes of the group selector to another line selector group for the temporary operation and to convert a line selector that is occupied in this group.
The conversion code was initially stored by relay LT until it could be picked up by the occupied line selector. The relay U 'of the line selector, which is excited in this way, now enables the brushes of this line selector to be automatically switched to the contact of the time partial multiple.
First, at the beginning of the next series of current impulses, as described, the control switch magnet S 'of the line selector is excited via the b wire. The current surges act on the setting magnet F ', which is connected to the a-wire via the contact 1s' when the control switch magnet S' is excited. After the current surge, the control switch magnet S 'drops out and switches the control switch to position z.
In the transition from position 1 to position 2, the push rod of the line selector is briefly actuated again and makes the brush set selected by the first setting movement effective for making contact. At the same time, the auxiliary switching element is coupled to the switching element. In position 2 of the control switch, an excitation circuit for the setting magnet F 'of the line selector is now closed: -I-, n10-37, lzc', 1m2, magnet F ', -. The magnet F 'attracts its armature and releases the switching element for permanent movement.
As soon as the switching element has run through ten steps, the contact 2a10-37 opens, the setting magnet F 'is de-energized again and stops the switching element. The selected brush set has thus been advanced by ten switching steps. If, for example, the fifth brush set was selected by the first setting movement and then made effective, the brush set is now in front of the con tact bank 25 (FIG. 2) of the second part multiplied.
This forwarding of the line selector, which is used to convert it when it is used in temporary work, is thus carried out immediately after the line selector is set by dialing the tens and before it is set by dialing one.
The next series of impulses sent out by the participant again causes the switching element to be moved to position 3 of the control switch. At the end of the current series of pulses, as already described, the test is carried out in position 4 of the control switch and in position 5 the transmission of call current takes place.
As can be seen, by blocking the selected line selector group, in the first submultiple of which the desired subscriber line was connected, in the pre-arranged group selector by energizing the relay U -selection of a free selector of this group has been prevented.
Rather, the group dialer was automatically switched to the next line dialer group and, when a free dialer of this following line dialer group was occupied, gave a conversion indicator via a voice wire to this occupied line selector.
The conversion code was stored in a relay U 'of the line selector and, after the line selector had dialed the tens, caused the line selector to switch to the contacts of the second sub-multiple by also connecting the desired subscriber line.
This storage of the conversion code could of course also be carried out by switching means of the group selector, which only transmit the code to the line selector after the series of current pulses required for decimal selection have been transmitted.
2. The group selector shown in FIG. 5 is made up of 200 parts and is able to work together with the line selector shown in FIG. For a better understanding, the two circuit diagrams are to be placed side by side again. The construction of the line selector shown in FIG. 5 corresponds essentially to the schematic representation shown in FIG. Ten sets of brushes and 20 contact groups 11 to 20 are provided.
In addition, a further group test brush GP is provided, which is moved during the group selection movement over a 200-part contact bank to which a group test line g is connected for each line selector group.
a) If a connection to one of the line selector groups 11-10 is to be established, then the first series of impulses acting on the group selector contains only a single impulse. When the impulse transmitter according to FIG. 3 is assigned, the relay C of the group selector is energized.
At the beginning of the transmission of a series of impulses, the b-wire in the impulse transmitter is grounded again via contact v, so that the control switch magnet S is excited and moves the control switch to position 1. The current surges act on the setting magnet F.
If, as assumed, the first series of current impulses contains only one current impulse, the switching element is lowered by one step and the control switch magnet S is de-energized, so that the control switch changes to position 2.
At the beginning of the next series of impulses, which also acts on the group selector, the control switch magnet S is again energized and switches the control switch to position $. The current surges then influence the setting magnet F, while at the end of the series of current surges the control switch changes to position 4 by de-energizing the control switch magnet <B> 8 </B>. If five current impulses were emitted in this second series of current impulses, the fifth set of brushes of the group selector is now located in front of the contacts of the line selector group 15.
In the control switch position 4, the contact 3m4 is closed and thereby both the winding I of the relay U and the group test brush GP are connected to the control switch magnet <B> 8 </B>.
b) Before the further switching operations are described, it should be briefly explained how the group selector is set to one of the line selector groups 21-20. In this case, the first series of current impulses that affects the group selector is two current impulses. While the control switch is in position 1, the switching element is lowered by two switching steps and the contact 1k2-10 is thereby closed. This requires the setting magnet F to be excited in the following circuit: +, 2m1, 1k2-10, magnet F, -. The magnet E responds and releases the switching element of the selector for uniform movement.
During this excitation of the setting magnet F, the control switch is also held in position 1 by the excitation of the magnet S in the circuit: +, <I> l m, 1, f, </I> magnet S, -. In the 11th setting step of the switching element, contact 1k2-10 is opened again, the setting magnet F is de-energized and holds the switching element in this position.
This lowering of the switching element by ten switching steps has the effect that now the second row of bumper fingers of the bumper shown in FIG. 2 is used to make the brush set to be selected by a second series of current pulses.
After this automatic switching movement of the switching element, the control scha.ltma.gnet S @ is also de-energized and moves the control switch to position 2, from which it changes to position 3 at the beginning of the second series of pulses acting on the group selector. The setting magnet F is again energized intermittently by this second series of current pulses.
At the end of the second series of impulses, the control switch magnet 8 drops out as a result of the interruption of the circuit existing over the h-wire and causes the control switch to be switched to position 4. If this second series of impulses comprises five impulses, the fifth set of brushes is now available Group selector in front of the contacts of line selector group 25.
c) If a line selector in the selected line selector group is free, group test line g is connected to earth. When the contact 3m4 is closed, the winding I of the relay U of the group selector is short-circuited. Only the control sehaltermagnet S 'is excited and switches the control switch to position 5, from which it changes immediately to position 6 in the absence of further excitation of the magnet S. At the transition from position 5 to position 6, the bumper (Fig. 2) is temporarily actuated and makes the selected brush set effective for making contact.
At the same time, the auxiliary switching element is coupled to the switching element so that it takes part in the further adjustment movement of the switching element. An excitation circuit for the setting magnet F is closed via the contact 77n6: -i-, 2p, 1n11, 7m6. 3k1-37, magnet F, -. The magnet F responds and enables the switching element to move continuously. This movement is limited to ten switching steps, since contact 1n11 opens on the eleventh step.
As soon as a free line selector is found while swiping over the ten contacts of a line selector group, relay <I> P </I> responds: +, 2n1-10, both windings of relay P, test brush, line c, 2k1- 37, relay C ', -. Relay <I> P </I> interrupts the excitation circuit for the setting magnet .F via contact <I> 2p </I> and thereby stops the switching element of the group selector.
With contact 1p the line selector is blocked in a known manner by short-circuiting the high-resistance winding of relay P, while contacts 3p and 4p cause the voice wires to be switched through. The setting of the line selector according to FIG. 6 is now carried out in the manner already described.
d) If no line selector in the selected line selector group is ready for a setting, then group test line g is not connected to earth. When the contact 3u4 is closed in the group selector according to FIG. 5, relay U is excited via its winding I together with the control switch magnet S.
Relay U closes a holding circuit for its winding II via contact 1u and, with contact 2u, causes the setting magnet F: +, <I> 4n4, </I> 2u, setting magnet F, - to be briefly excited. This excitation is interrupted immediately as the control switch moves to position 5. The brief excitation of a solenoid F has the lowering of the switching element by a further step.
As soon as the control switch moves from position 5 to position 6, lacking excitation of the magnet S ', it is not the set of brushes selected by the number current pulses, but the set of brushes corresponding to the next line selector group for making contact.
In position 6 of the control switch, the automatic searcher selection of the group selector takes place, which is terminated by the response of the relay P when a free line selector of this adjacent line selector group is found.
By opening the contact 2p, in addition to shutting down the group selector, the deenergization of the winding II of the relay <I> U </I> is now also effected. Relay <I> U </I> is equipped with a dropout delay and therefore keeps its armature attracted for some time.
When the voice wires are switched through by means of the contacts 3p and 4p, an excitation circuit for the relay U 'of the line selector Fig. 6 is created: -f-, 3u., <I> 3p, </I> brush of the group selector, a -Ader, 5m4-10, 1s', winding I of the relay <I> U ', -. </I> Relay <I> U' </I> responds and saves this conversion indicator for the lei in the manner already described option selector.
The line selector to select the group of ten of the subscriber line is adjusted by the next series of impulses. Thereupon, in the manner described, relay U 'causes the line selector to switch automatically by ten switching steps to the contacts of the second sub-multiple to which the desired subscriber line is connected. The last series of current pulses then causes the final setting of the selected set of brushes on this subscriber line.
3. The group selector shown in FIG. 7 is made up of 200 parts and works together with line selectors according to FIG. The line selectors according to FIG. 8 are also designed in 200 parts and take up the lines of a 100 group of subscriber lines in their first submultiple, while subgroups of ten lines are connected to several 100 groups of subscriber lines in the second submultiple. These 100 groups of subscriber lines are thus divided into individual 10 groups.
In the first 10 group of the second submultiple of the line selector, the lines of the first 10 group of the first submultiple of the next preceding line selector group are connected. In the second 10 group of the second submultiple of the line selector, the lines of the second 10 group of the first submultiple of the next preceding line selector group are connected, etc.
This type of multiple switching of the subscriber lines in the line selectors means that the group dialers must be switched to various other line dialer groups for the auxiliary operation if there is not already one of the selectors in the selected line dialer group, depending on which code number of the 10 group is assigned to the desired subscriber line .
If the subscriber line is in the first 10 group, then the upstream group dialer must be switched to the next following line dialer group in temporary operation. If the subscriber line is in the second group of ten, then the group selector must be switched to the next but one line selector group, and if the subscriber line is in the tenth group of ten, then the group selector must go to the tenth of the line selector group selected the following group will be advanced.
In order to enable this setting for the various line selector groups, the group selector is made up of 200 parts.
Since the group selector is switched forward by as many group selection steps in the temporary operation as it is sent out as current impulses to identify the group of ten in which the subscriber line is located, this progression is therefore dependent on the current impulses that set the line selector to 10 -Group are to cause memory switching means must be provided in the group selector, which store these current surges and send them again to the line selector after a line selector has been occupied in the auxiliary operation.
These storage devices are expediently designed in such a way that they allow both the series of current impulses emitted for the selection of the 10 groups and for the selection of the single line to be received. These storage facilities can be assigned to the voters of a group voting level together, since they only come into action in the rare cases of temporary work. In the circuit arrangement of FIG. 7, the memory devices are individually assigned to the group selector.
For each series of impulses to be stored, a storage switchgear controlled by two magnets D and E is provided. The relays <I> U, B </I> and <I> J are also assigned to this memory switching mechanism.
a) Let us first explain the case of a normal connection establishment. When the current impulse transmitter is assigned (Fig. 3), relay C of the group selector (Fig. 7) responds, whereby relays B and U are energized via contact 4c.
At the beginning of the current surge emission for setting the group selector, the b-wire in the current surge transformer (Fig. 3) is connected to earth via contact v, so that the control switch magnet S responds and the control switch is switched to position 1. The current surges sent over the a, -wires excite a relay A 'intermittently, which with its contact la' causes the intermittent excitation of the setting magnet F: -i-, la ', 2n11, 2p, magnet F, -.
The switching element is lowered by as many switching steps as the number of current surges acting on the group selector. At the end of this current surge series, the control switch magnet S is de-energized as a result of de-energizing the b-wire and switches the control switch to position 2, in which the contact is closed and the control switch magnet S connects to the group test brush GP. There.
as assumed that a line selector in the selected group should be free, the group test line g is connected to earth via contacts 1k1-37 and 4c '. The control switch magnet S is excited and switches the control switch to position 3, from which it changes to position 4 in the absence of excitation of the control switch magnet S.
In the transition from position 3 to position 4, the bumper is actuated before transient, which makes the brush set selected by the first series of pulses to make contact effective. At the same time, the auxiliary switching element is coupled to the switching element. An excitation circuit for the setting magnet F is closed via the contact 67n4-10: -I-, 6m4-10, 2n11, 2p, magnet F, -. The setting magnet is energized and releases the switching element for a uniform movement.
This movement is limited to ten switching steps by contact 2n11. At the same time, the control switch magnet S is excited via contact 5m4, so that the control switch moves to position 5 and from there to position 6 due to the lack of excitation of the magnet S.
In position 6, the control switch magnet S is excited via contact 7a6 and switches the control switch to position 7, from which it is switched to position 8 due to the lack of excitation of magnet S, in which the speech lines are switched through via contacts 11m8 and 12m8 , while the control switch magnet and relay A 'are disconnected from the speech wires via contacts 9m6-10 and 10m6-10.
If the selected brush set meets the contact of a free line selector, relay P responds: +, 1n1-10, both windings of relay P, 3e, test brush of the group selector, c-wire, 2k1-37, relay <B> <I> C </I> </B>, -. Relay P short-circuits its high-resistance winding with contact 1p, thereby blocking the line selector in use. In contact 2p the circuit is interrupted for the setting magnet F, so that it drops out and the switching element stops. Contacts 3p and 4p switch through the speech wires.
Relay <B> C </B> responds in the test circuit in the line selector. At the beginning of the next series of current impulses, the control switch magnet S 'of the line selector is excited via the b-wire and switches the control switch to position 1. At the same time, the contact 1s' is switched. The current impulses given via the a-wire act on the setting magnet F 'of the line selector. At the end of the series of impulses, the magnet S 'drops out and switches the control switch to position z.
At the transition from control holder position 1 to 2, the push rod (Fig. 2) is temporarily actuated and brings about the operation of the set of brushes selected by the first power surge. At the beginning of the second series of impulses, the control switch magnet S 'is again excited via the b-wire and switches the control switch to position 3, with the contact 1s' being switched to the working position at the same time.
The current impulses are again applied to the setting magnet F '. At the end of the current impulse, the control switch goes to position 4. In position 4, the test circuit for relay P 'is closed via contact 2na4. The contact 37u4-5 simultaneously closes a new excitation circuit for the control switch magnet S ', so that the control switch changes to position 5 in which the control switch magnet S' is kept excited.
If the relay P 'has the contacts of a. f reffen subscriber line, then with contact -p 'the line was blocked by short-circuiting the high-resistance winding, while contacts 2p' and 3p 'connect the voice wires. The ringing current is now transmitted via contact 2s'. As soon as the calling subscriber hangs up his or her handset, a direct current flows through the winding of the relay <I> Y </I>, relay <I> Y </I> responds and switches the speech wires through with contacts 2J and 3y.
b) It is now. Consider the case that no line selector is available in the desired line selector group. When the current impulse transmitter is assigned, relay C in the group selector (FIG. 7) and then relays B and ZT are again energized. During the first current impulse, the control switch magnet S is excited via the b-wire and holds the control switch in position 1.
The current impulses running over the a-wire influence the relay A ', which with its contact la' passes the current impulses on to the setting magnet F. If, for example, five current impulses are sent out, the switching element of the selector is lowered by five switching steps so that the fifth set of brushes is now in front of the contact field of group 15 (FIG. 2). At the end of the series of pulses, the control switch magnet S is de-energized, so that the control switch changes to position 2.
If, as assumed, no line selector from this line selector group is ready for the setting, then group test line g is not connected to earth and control switch magnet S cannot be excited via contact li) ä2.
Will now. The subscriber sends out the current impulses which, in normal operation, serve to set the line selector to the group of ten of the subscriber line, then these current surges act again on the group selector. At the beginning of the series of current impulses, the control switch magnet 8 is again excited via the b-wire, which moves the control switch to position 3.
The current impulses given over the a-wire are now passed on by the relay A 'once by means of a contact la' to the setting magnet F, but also by means of the contact 2a 'to the setting magnet DI of the first memory switch of the memory device assigned to the group selector . This memory switching mechanism is designed in such a way that a switching element is adjusted step by step by means of an adjusting magnet D while storing a force, for example against the action of a spring or gravity. The switching element is also influenced by an electromagnet E.
whose armature controls an escapement, which releases the switching element for the movement of half a switching step when the armature pulls in and out, so that after a setting by the setting magnet D it is half a time with alternating excitations and de-excitations of the electromagnet F Switching steps under the action of the previously stored force returns to its rest position.
Simultaneously with the further adjustment of the switching element of the group selector, the switching element of the memory switch is adjusted step by step. If the desired subscriber line is, for example, in the ninth 10 group of a 100 group of subscriber lines, then nine current surges are transmitted in this series of current impulses, so that the switching element of the group selector is lowered by nine additional switching steps.
At the end of this movement, the fourth brush set from the top of the group selector is in front of a bumper finger of the second row of bumper fingers on the bumper (Fig. 2), so that it can brush the contact field \ -4 after a temporary activation of the bumper.
In this contact field 24 that line selector group is connected, which is nine group selection steps away from the line selector group 15 selected first, since after the multiple switching the ninth 10 group of the 100 group 15 in the second submultiple of the line selector, which in the preferential operation the 100 group 24 serves, is connected.
If, for example, there are only ten line selector groups, the lines that lead to the line selector group 14 are repeated once again in this contact group 24, since the assumed multiple switching of the subscriber lines in the first and second submultiples of the line selector closes cyclically across all existing line selector groups .
At the end of the series of impulses, which transmits the code number of the group of ten of the desired subscriber line, the control switch goes to position 4 due to de-energization of the control switch magnet. At the transition from position 3 to position 4, the push rod is temporarily actuated, so that now the selected fourth brush set of the group selector is made effective for making contact. The contacts 1w1, 2w1 and 3tcl have also been switched by adjusting the memory switchgear using the setting magnet DI.
The contact 1w1 has the effect that in the control switch position 4 there is no excitation circuit for the control switch magnet, so the control switch initially remains in position 4. When the control switch position 4 is reached, an excitation circuit for the setting magnet F of the group selector is immediately closed via the contact 67m4-10, which responds and releases the switching element of the group selector to a uniform movement. This movement is limited to ten switching steps by contact 2n11.
The auxiliary switching element which controls the contacts n was coupled with the group selector switching element when the control switch changed from position 3 to position 4. The selected set of brushes is thus moved over the contacts of the contact group 24. As soon as the brush set finds a free line selector, a test circuit is established: -f-, 17t1-10, both windings of relay P, <B> 3e, </B> test brush, c-wire, 2k1-37, relay <B > C </B> of the line selector, -.
Relay P responds, blocks the occupied line selector by closing contact lp, interrupts the excitation circuit for setting magnet F of the group selector with contact 2p and switches the speech wire through with contacts 3p and 4p.
As soon as contact 3p is closed, a circuit is created for the setting magnet F 'of the line selector: -I-, fiber optic, 12c, 3m4, 3p, brush of the group selector, a-wire, 3k1-37, 4m4-10, magnet F ', -. The adjusting magnet F 'is excited and releases the switching element of the line selector for uniform movement. After the first switching step of this switching element, the excitation circuit for the setting magnet in the contact 3k1-37 is interrupted.
The excitation state of the adjusting magnet F 'is, however, maintained in the circuit: -I-, 1y, 1c', 1m1-10, f ', 57c10-37, magnet F', until this circuit is also interrupted in the tenth switching step .
The setting of the memory switching mechanism I in the first group selector has the effect that the line selector is advanced by ten steps immediately after occupancy, so that the brushes of the line selector come to a stop in front of the contacts of the second partial multiple. This conversion takes place by exciting the setting magnet without prior excitation of the control switch magnet, i.e. in the control switch position 0.
In the group selector, the control switch is in position 4 during these switching operations. If the subscriber sends out the current impulses that correspond to the ones digit of the desired subscriber line, then the control switch magnet S is energized again via the b-wire, so that the control switch moves to position 5.
The current impulses running over the a-wire are now only transmitted to the setting magnet DII of a second storage switching mechanism by the relay A '. The A solenoid F of the group selector can no longer influence these current surges, since relay P is energized. The DIT setting magnet of the second storage switchgear is actuated jerkily and adjusts the storage switchgear by as many switching steps as current surges are transmitted.
At the end of the current impulse, the control switch magnet is de-energized as a result of the interruption of the circuit running over the b-wire and switches the control switch to position 6. With the setting of the second memory switch, contacts 1wII and 2w11 have been switched. In control switch position 6, the excitation circuit for relay B at contact 8m6-10 is interrupted.
The excitation circuit for relay 1T is maintained via contact 2w1 and the resistor wi. Relaus $ drops its anchor and closes the contact b.
At the same time there is an excitation circuit in control switch position 6 for the control switch magnet S 'of the line selector: -f-, 1w1, 1u, 137n6-10, 4p, brush of the group selector, b-wire, 5m4-10 (fug. 8), magnet S. ', -. The control switch magnet of the line selector is energized and moves the control switch to position 1.
Closing contact b energizes the electromagnet EI: -f--, b, i, 2u, 3w1, magnet EI, -. Solenoid EI responds, closes contact eI and resets the switching element of the memory switching mechanism I by half a step. Relay J is excited via contact eI, which folds its contact i and thereby closes an excitation circuit for the setting magnet F 'of the line selector (Fig. 8):
-I-, <I> b, i, </I> 3p, brush of the group counter, a-wire, 1s '(fug. 8), 4m4-10, magnet F', -. By switching the contact i, the excitation circuit for the magnet EI of the storage switchgear 1 is interrupted at the same time, so that it drops out and the switching element of the storage switchgear is again released for half a step. But when the magnet EI falls, relay J is also de-energized .
In this interplay of magnets EI and relay J, the switching element of the memory switchgear is released for a return movement by half a switching step, while a current surge is sent to the a-wire after a whole switching step has been carried out. The setting inagnet F 'of the line selector thus receives as many current surges as the number of current surges sent out to identify the 10 group by the memory switchgear.
If, as assumed, nine current impulses were stored, then after the memory switching mechanism returned to its rest position, the switching element of the line selector was lowered by another nine switching steps, so that the ninth thirst sentence before the contacts of the ninth 10 group of the second Partial multiple stands.
When the memory switch unit 1 returns to the rest position, the contacts wI are switched over again. At contact 1w1, the circuit for the control switch magnet S "is interrupted, so that the control switch goes to position 2, temporarily actuating the bumper and making the ninth brush set of the line selector effective for contacting. The contact 22c1 interrupts the energization of the relay U, which is provided with a drop-out delay.
As soon as relay LT drops its armature after a certain time, an excitation circuit for the control switch magnet S 'of the line selector is closed again: - + -, 1-wII, las, 13m6-10, 4p, brush of the group selector, b-core , 5m4-10 (Fig. 8), control switch magnet S ', -, so that the control switch of the line selector changes to position 3.
At the same time, an excitation current circuit for the magnet EII of the second storage switchgear is closed by the contact 2wII: -f-, b, i. 2-iz, 2atiII, magnet EII, -. This Mag net EII also works together with relay J, so that the set switching element of the second storage switchgear returns to its rest position in half switching steps, while at the same time, after every complete switching step, a current surge is triggered via the a-wire on the setting magnet F 'of the line selector is sent.
The switching element of the line selector is thus reduced by as many switching steps as current surges were sent out to identify the one digit of the desired subscriber line. After the memory switchgear has returned to its rest position, the contacts wII are moved. Contact 1w11 interrupts the circuit via the b wire, so that the control switch of the line selector changes to position 4.
At the same time, the contact 1wII closes an excitation current circuit for the control switch magnet <B> 8 </B> of the group selector: -f-, 1wII, 72m4, magnet S, -, so that the control switch is in position 7 and out of this due to lack of excitation the control switch magnet S immediately goes into position 8, in which the speech lines are switched through via the contacts 11m8 and 127m8.
In position 4 of the control switch of the line selector, the test circuit for relay P is closed via contact 2m4. The control switch goes at the same time by He excitation of the magnet S 'on the contact 3, i4-5 in position 5, in which the magnet S' remains excited. If the subscriber line is free, relay P responds, blocks the desired subscriber line using contact 1p 'and uses contact 2p' and 3p 'to switch ringing current to the blocking wire, which runs through contact 2s' and the windings of relay Y.
As soon as the subscriber answers, relay Y is excited by the direct current flowing through the -NZ tickings of relay Y; by opening its contact 1y, the circuit for the control holder magnet S 'is interrupted, so that it drops out, with contact 2s' the ringing current transmission is prevented and the control switch is switched to position 6. Contacts 2y and 3y switch the speech wires through.
As can be seen, in this exemplary embodiment, in which the lines of a 100 group of subscriber lines are connected from subgroup to subgroup in the second submultiple of different line selector groups, the group selectors are assigned memory switching means that store the for identifying the subgroup and for Allow the identification of the single digit of the desired subscriber line-serving current impulses to be saved.
The conversion of the line meter for the temporary operation is carried out immediately after a free line selector is occupied.
For the invention it is irrelevant whether both series of current pulses required for setting the line selector are stored in the group selector. The arrangement could also be made in such a way that the group selector only stores the current impulses that determine the group of ten, which are then sent out immediately after a free line selector is occupied, so that the one-current impulses act directly on the line selector.
In the game Ausführungsbei described the group selector for the auxiliary operation is switched on by as many group selection steps as current surges are sent out to identify the group of ten of the desired subscriber line. The memory switching means of the group selector are therefore designed as simple Stromstosswiederholer, which send the saved th current surges after occupying a free line selector in the same number and order as they were sent out by the subscriber to set the line selector.
The multiple switching of the subscriber lines can of course also be done in some other way, for example so that the lines of the tenth 10 group of a subscriber hundred in the second submultiple of the adjacent line selector group, the lines of the first 10 group of this subscriber hundred in the second sub-multiple of the line selector group separated by 10 group selection steps.
In this case it is necessary to convert the current impulses which are stored in the devices assigned to the group selectors.
In the exemplary embodiments described, the indicator for converting the line selector in the temporary operation is always given by the upstream group selector depending on the blocking of a certain line selector group for this group selector.
This type of re-evaluation of the line selectors is not absolutely necessary; rather, if all line selectors in a group are not already there, a line selector from another group can be used directly from this line selector group, for example via a call distribution circuit, in its second sub-multiple the desired subscriber line is also connected,
for use in temporary work in order to evaluate and to use the blocking that acts backwards on the upstream group selector only to prevent the free searcher selection of the group selector on the blocked line selector group and to enable the group selector to advance.
