Description

Tubular heat exchange body. For the efficiency of a line used for heat exchange, in addition to other factors that are more or less decisive depending on the specific conditions, the size of the effective surface is particularly decisive. One has introduced so-called finned tubes in particular for heating elements, in which the tubes are provided with radially extending ribs at relatively short intervals. However, these pipes are not suitable for all conditions, especially not when the heat is to be dissipated from the pipe surface in the axial direction.

In the case of vertical heating pipes, the radial ribs are unsuitable because they hinder the natural buoyancy of the heated air.

The invention relates to a tubular heat exchange body, which is characterized by ribs which run at least approximately in the axial direction of the heat exchange body. H. of pipes with radial ribs, is not acceptable.

In the drawing .sind some Ausfüh approximately examples of tubular heat exchanger bodies according to the invention shown in cross section. Fig. 1 shows a cylindri cal pipe 1 with axially extending Rip pen 2, F'ig. 2, a tube with a flat cross section; Fig. 3 and 4 show tubes with round .dem respectively. flat cross-section ,. in which the ribs run axially inside the tube.

For special circumstances, it may be advisable to use a tube in which longitudinal ribs are provided on both the outside and the inside. The heat or The cold transfer from the medium flowing inside the pipe to the pipe wall is significantly improved.

Such a tube can be created in a simple manner in that a corresponding hole in accordance with FIG. 3 is pushed into a tube according to FIG. in a tube according to FIG. 2 such a tube according to FIG. 4.

Under certain circumstances, it can also be advisable to let the ribs run not exactly axially, but more or less obliquely to the pipe axis, possibly in the form of a steep thread, which causes intensive contact of the media passing through between the ribs with the surface of the same .
