Chaise longue pliante. La présente invention a pour objet une chaise longue pliante -comprenant deux cadres rectangulaires articulés l'un sur l'autre au tour d'un axe transversal et qui reposent @cha- cun sur le sol par l'un de leurs deux bouts lorsque la chaise est en position d'emploi, un siège fait d'une bande de matière souple et reliant les deux cadres et un étrier articulé par ses deux branches sur l'un desdits cadres et s'appuyant sur les côtés longitudinaux de l'autre.
Cette chaise longue est caractérisée en ce que l'un au moins des côtés transver saux des cadres auxquels la bande de matière souple est attachée est un cylindre monté en tre les deux côtés longitudinaux de l'un des cadres et muni de l'un des éléments d'un dis positif de blocage empêchant le cylindre de tourner dans le sens du déroulement de la bande de matière souple, dispositif dont l'au tre élément est monté sur l'un desdits côtés longitudinaux.
Le cylindre mentionné est -de préférence monté sur celui des deux cadres .dont l'extré mité inférieure est .à l'arrière de la chaise, cadre qui peut être fait de deux parties arti culées l'une sur l'autre, par exemple à l'aide de charnières d'axe transversal permettant que deux côtés parallèles longitudinaux -de l'une puissent soit se rabattre à l'arrière le long de deux côtés longitudinaux -de l'autre, soit prolonger ceux-ci à l'avant. Dans ce cas, le cylindre mentionné est monté de manière amovible sur ses coussinets et la chaise com porte -des moyens -de support de -ce cylindre identiques situés les uns à la partie avant de la partie de prolongement et les autres au voi sinage desdites charnières.
Les dessins ci-annexés représentent, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention et deux variantes de détail.

La chaise longue représentée comporte deux,cadres 1 et 4 articulés l'un sur l'autre autour d'un axe transversal la,. Le cadre 1 porte les articulations d'un étrier 3 qui s'appuie sur le bout inférieur du cadre 4, le quel repose sur le sol par son bout posté rieur alors -que le cadre 1 repose par son bout antérieur. Le siège -est formé d'une toile de tissu quelconque 2 attaché, .d'une part, au côté transversal et supérieur 7 du -cadre 1 et, d'autre part, à un rouleau 8 constituant une traverse amovible du .cadre 4.
Ce rouleau est mobile rotativement autour de l'axe 8a, tra versant une partie 5 de ce cadre qui est ar ticulée sur une seconde partie -du cadre 4, à l'aide -de deux charnières 6 dont l'axe com mun est situé à l'avant de l'axe d'articulation 4 des deux cadres. Dans la position représen tée sur la fig. 1, la partie 5 est rabattue à l'arrière.
Les guides de pivotement du cylin dre 8 pourraient aussi bien être portés par la partie postérieure ,du cadre 4 au voisinage des charnières 6, de manière que l'axe -de pi votement soit situé un peu plus bas que l'axe 8a,, en 8b, -comme cela a été représenté dans la fig. 3, à titre de variante.
Dans la fig. 2, le rouleau 8 a été trans porté -du bout de la partie 5 qui est le plus voisin -des charnières 6 au bout opposé, le quel a été porté à l'avant de la chaise par ro tation de la partie 5 autour des charnières 6. Cette partie a ses deux côtés longitudinaux maintenus parallèles l'un ià l'autre en l'ab sence du rouleau 8 par la traverse qui unit deux pieds 12 respectivement articulés au voisinage de son extrémité et qui sont desti nés à la soutenir à l'avant, afin d'éviter les efforts excessifs par .des organes -de butée qui seraient trop voisins .des charnières.
La partie 5 pourrait comporter une autre traverse dans le milieu -de sa longueur et une traverse 15 mobile est prévue comme pouvant reposer sur les côtés longitudinaux @à -des places diverses en vue de soutenir le siège 2 dans l'une ou l'autre des positions qu'ils peut prendre par suite du déplacement -de l'étrier 3 le long du cadre 4. Le cylindre 8 repose par ses pivots 17a, et 17b sur les plaques 22 et 18 fixées res pectivement aux .deux côtés longitudinaux -de la partie 5.
La plaque 22 présente un simple trou .dans lequel est engagé le pivot 17a,, tan dis que la plaque 13 présente une ouverture 10 jusqu'à son bord supérieur dont le fond constitue le coussinet du pivot-17b, la largeur de cette ouverture étant au moins aussi grande que le diamètre de ce pivot. Celui-ci est soli daire d'une roue à rochet 11 vissée par -des vis 21 contre le cylindre. Le pivot 17b pré ,sente une tête 20 qui s'engage derrière la pla que 13 repliée, de manière qu'un espace 24 soit réservé entre elle et une barre longitu dinale de la partie 5. Un cliquet 9 est monté sur la plaque 13 et est disposé de manière que sa réaction sur le rochet 11 maintienne le pi vot 17b au fond de l'ouverture 10 qui permet le démontage du cylindre.
Ce cliquet peut être rappelé par un ressort ou par le poids d'un prolongement 9a, qui sert en même temps d'organe de manaeuvre lorsqu'on doit dégager le cliquet pour dérouler la toile 2 préalable ment enroulée autour du cylindre 8. Le pivot 17a, appartient à une plaque 18 vissée par des vis 16 contre le bout du cylindre 8 situé à droite -de la fi.-. 6.
On adapte comme il suit la chaise longue aux divers usages auxquels elle est destinée: Lorsque la personne qui l'emploie doit être simplement assise, elle lui donne la forme représentée en figure 1. Pour cela, elle place la partie < 5, comme indiqué, et fait tourner les pieds 12, de manière qu'ils soient sur le plan ,de cette partie ou reposent sur le sol.
Quant au siège 2 qui peut être d'ordinaire entièrement enroulé sur le cylindre 8 et at taché, par exemple, à la traverse 7 pour le transport de la chaise, la personne le dé roule -du -cylindre 8 d'une quantité qui per- met que son pivot 17a, soit introduit dans la plaque 22, puis que l'autre extrémité soit abaissée sur la plaque 13, de manière que le pivot 17b pénètre dans l'ouverture 10. Il ne reste plus alors qu'à régler la longueur du siège par enroulement ou déroulement et par manoeuvre du cliquet 9.
Si, au contraire, la personne doit être étendue, elle fait tourner la partie 5 et les pieds 12 de celle-ci pour les amener dans la position de la fig. 2. Mais pour cela, elle doit au préalable enlever le cylindre 8 des guides de pivotement qui sont au voisinage de la :charnière 6, dérouler la toile et replacer le cylindre sur des guides identiques situés à l'autre extrémité -de la partie 5.
Les charnières 6 peuvent être remplacées par des articulations quelconques et telles, par exemple, que la partie 5 se rabatte à l'in térieur de la partie 4.
La chaise représentée comporte en outre des appuis 14 articulés de la manière connue. Tout autre encliquetage connu peut être em ployé à la place de l'encliquetage représenté, qui peut évidemment être répété aux deux bouts du cylindre.
Au lieu d'un seul cylindre d'enroulement, la chaise peut en comporter deux, l'un pour le haut du siège, remplaçant la traverse 7 et per mettant le démontage complet -du siège par enlèvement des deux rouleaux, en vue du transport, par exemple.
L'encliquetage peut être remplacé aussi par tout autre dispositif de blocage dont les fig. 7 et 8 montrent un exemple. Dans cet exemple, la plaque 13 est remplacée par une plaque 25 dont l'ouverture<B>2%</B> est .coudée à l'équerre et a une largeur égale ait plus petit diamètre d'un arbre carré 26 terminé par une tête 31, faisant saillie au bout du cylindre 8 et remplaçant le pivot cylindrique. La forme carrée peut être remplacée par un autre poly gone.
Un organe de verrouillage 28 est arti culé. en 29 sur la plaque 25 et présente une ouverture 28a dont un flanc 28b forme une rampe destinée à pousser l'arbre 26 au fond de l'ouverture 25a,. Une cheville 30 empêche cet organe 28 de tomber verticalement dans un sens ou dans l'autre -en l'absence du cy lindre 8.
On peut soit enrouler -ou dérouler le siège lorsque le cylindre 8 n'est pas en place, soit le faire après avoir soulevé l'organe 28 et avoir amené l'arbre carré à l'angle -de l'é querre formée par l'ouverture 25a,.
Folding lounge chair. The lounge chair shown has two, frames 1 and 4 articulated one on the other about a transverse axis 1a,. The frame 1 carries the joints of a bracket 3 which rests on the lower end of the frame 4, which rests on the ground by its posterior end while the frame 1 rests at its front end. The seat -is formed of any fabric canvas 2 attached, .on the one hand, to the transverse and upper side 7 of the -frame 1 and, on the other hand, to a roller 8 constituting a removable crosspiece of the .frame 4 .
This roller is rotatably movable around the axis 8a, passing through a part 5 of this frame which is hinged on a second part of the frame 4, with the aid of two hinges 6, the common axis of which is located at the front of the articulation axis 4 of the two frames. In the position shown in fig. 1, part 5 is folded back at the back.
The pivot guides of the cylinder dre 8 could as well be carried by the rear part of the frame 4 in the vicinity of the hinges 6, so that the axis -de pi votement is located a little lower than the axis 8a ,, in 8b, -as has been shown in FIG. 3, alternatively.
In fig. 2, the roller 8 was transported -from the end of part 5 which is closest to the hinges 6 at the opposite end, which was carried to the front of the chair by rotating part 5 around the hinges 6.
