Deekelschliessvorrichtung an Autoklaven.
Closing device on autoclaves.
The removable or hinged lid of the autoclave was previously connected to the vessel in a pressure-tight manner with the aid of screws. The application and tightening, as well as the loosening of these screws, which are arranged distributed on the circumference of a flange of the vessel and the lid, is, however, tedious and time-consuming.
In the case of the lid closing device according to the present invention, this inconvenience is avoided in that a rotatable ring encompassing an edge flange of the lid and an edge flange of the vessel of the autoclave engages over said flange and one of the flanges and the part of the rotating ring that extends over it wedge-like on each other can act, for which at least one of these parts (overlapping part of the rotating ring and flange) has certain wedge track segments to interact with opposing organs on the other part.
The drawing shows an example of such a lid closing device, specifically with wedge track segments attached to the rotating ring and to the vessel flange. In Fig. I an edge part of the vessel with lid and rotating ring is shown in axial section B-B of Figures 2 and 3, where a is the lid with the edge reinforcement, that is, the flange b and the seal d embedded in the latter; c is the vessel wall with flange f; g is the rotating ring with a U-shaped cross section; which includes the flanges of the lid and the vessel on the circumference and they BEZW with its legs above. overlaps below.
In the present case, recesses i are provided in the lower part of this leg, evenly distributed over the circumference, so that segments e are formed. These segments e have keyways on the upper side. The flange f has segments h which have wedge tracks on their underside and separated from each other by recesses k respectively. are formed. A lever handle I, for example, is provided on the strap g for turning the ring to tighten or loosen the lock.
In FIG. 2, the device is shown in section A21 of FIG. 1 with the rotating ring retracted, without the cover, before the rotating ring is turned and the lid is pressed on, and this figure shows the arrangement of the wedge track segments e and h on the rotating ring and on the flange f and the recesses i or between them. k, which are arranged and dimensioned so that BEZW when retracting the cover. of the rotating ring, the wedge track segments h can pass through the recesses i and the wedge track segments e through the recesses k.
In Fig. 2a the same object is shown as in Fig. 2, but after turning the rotating ring, that is, with the lid pressed on.
Fig. 3 shows the plan of Fig. 2 in section C-C of the rotating ring.
Instead of using the lever handle Z, the ring can also be turned with the aid of a tangential screw-pulling device, for example according to FIG o are loosely or firmly connected to the other of the two structural parts to be rotated against each other.
To improve the friction conditions when turning the ring g, one of the wedges of the wedge pairs can be replaced by a bolt on which the other wedge runs, or sliding wedge friction is avoided entirely by using a rotating roller instead of one of the wedges , or rolling rollers or rolling balls on which the wedge runs are arranged on a base.
