In ein Sitz- und ein Tischmöbel umwandelbarer Koffer. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Koffer, der nach Belieben in ein Sitzmöbel oder ein Tischmöbel umgewandelt werden kann. Es kann ein besonderer Raum im Koffer vorgesehen sein, in welchem die vier bei der Umwandlung anzubringenden Füsse untergebracht sind. Der Koffer kann zur Ver wendung seines Deckels als Rücklehne oder als Tischplatte eingerichtet sein.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungs beispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes veran schaulicht.
Fig. 1 zeigt den Koffer, an dessen Rück seite Öffnungen a vorhanden sind, durch welche die vier Füsse eingeführt werden. Diese Öffnungen sind durch bewegliche, nicht dar gestellte Eckenverzierungen verdeckt.
Fig. 2 zeigt den Koffer mit eingesetzten Füssen; b ist eine besondere, seitliche Öffnung am Koffer, welche in einen besondern, hintern Kofferraum führt, aus welchem die Füsse ent nommen sind; mit c sind Führungen für die Füsse angedeutet, welche an den Innenseiten der Kofferwandungen angebracht sind. Der durch die Öffnungen a gesteckte Teil der Füsse erhält in den Führungen c einen festen Halt. Um die Stabilität noch zu verbessern, sind die Füsse, wie die Zeichnung zeigt, nach aussen geschweift.
In diesen Führungen, wel che mit nicht gezeichneten Sperrvorrichtungen für die Füsse versehen sind, lassen sich die Füsse mehr oder weniger tief eingesetzt fest legen, damit sie allfälligen Bodenunebenheiten angepasst werden können.
Fig. 3 stellt den Koffer als Stuhl dar. Der Kofferdeckel g, welcher als Rücklehne dient, ist durch die beiden seitlichen, flachen, soliden Metallstäbe d festgehalten. Diese bei den Metallstäbe d sind an ihren Enden mit- telst Gelenken befestigt. Da sie in dieser Stellung des Deckels auf den untern Rand des Deckels aufzuliegen kommen, bewirken sie eine Stützung des Deckels, die für dessen Benützung als Rücklehne ausreicht. Ein zwei ter flacher Deckel e des Koffers dient als Sitzplatte. Wie aus der Zeichnung hervorgeht, besteht dieser Deckel e aus zwei Teilen, die durch Scharniere miteinander verbunden sind.
Der hintere, schmale Teil bedeckt den bereits erwähnten, zur Unterbringung der Füsse be stimmten Raum, während der breitere, vor dere Teil den verfügbaren Raum für Proviant usw. abdeckt. Die Zweiteilung des Deckels e ist umso vorteilhafter, als der Kofferdeckel y in der Lage als Rücklehne auf den schmalen Teil des Deckels e aufzuliegen kommt und deshalb ohne die Zweiteilung der Proviant- raum nicht mehr zugänglich wäre.
Fig. 4 zeigt den Koffer als Bank mit Tisch. Durch einfaches Aufklappen des Kofferdeckels als Rücklehne lässt sich dieser in eine Stel- lung'bringen, in welcher er als Tischplatte dient. Auch hier gewährleistet das Aufliegen des untern Deckelrandes auf den beiden Stä ben d eine gute Stützung für den Deckel. Ein rohrartiger; ausziehbarer Stab f ist an der Mitte des vordern Deckelrandes lösbar befestigt, um der Tischplatte den erforder lichen Halt zu geben. Der Stab kann, inein- andergeschoben, ebenfalls in dem für die Füsse bestimmten .Kofferraum untergebracht werden.
Fig. 5 veranschaulicht, wie der Koffer deckel verstellt werden muss, um statt als Rücklehne als Tischplatte zu. dienen.
Suitcase convertible into seating and table furniture. The present invention relates to a suitcase that can be converted into seating or table furniture at will. A special space can be provided in the case in which the four feet to be attached during the conversion are housed. The case can be set up to use its lid as a backrest or as a table top.

Fig. 1 shows the case, on the back of which there are openings a through which the four feet are inserted. These openings are covered by movable corner decorations not shown.
Fig. 2 shows the case with the feet inserted; b is a special, side opening on the case, which leads into a special, rear trunk, from which the feet are taken; with c guides for the feet are indicated, which are attached to the inside of the case walls. The part of the feet inserted through the openings a receives a firm hold in the guides c. As the drawing shows, the feet are curved outwards to improve stability.
In these guides, wel che are provided with locking devices (not shown) for the feet, the feet can be inserted more or less deeply so that they can be adapted to any uneven ground.
Fig. 3 shows the case as a chair. The case lid g, which serves as a backrest, is held in place by the two lateral, flat, solid metal rods d. These at the metal rods d are fastened at their ends by means of joints. Since they come to rest on the lower edge of the lid in this position of the lid, they cause a support of the lid, which is sufficient for its use as a backrest. A second flat lid of the case serves as a seat plate. As can be seen from the drawing, this cover e consists of two parts which are connected to one another by hinges.
The rear, narrow part covers the space already mentioned, to accommodate the feet, while the wider, front part covers the space available for provisions, etc. The division of the lid e into two parts is all the more advantageous as the case lid y is able to rest on the narrow part of the lid e as a backrest and therefore the provisions area would no longer be accessible without the division into two parts.
Fig. 4 shows the case as a bench with a table. By simply opening the case lid as a backrest, it can be brought into a position in which it serves as a table top. Here, too, the fact that the lower edge of the lid rests on the two rods ensures good support for the lid. A pipe-like one; Extendable rod f is releasably attached to the center of the front edge of the lid to give the table top the required support. The rod can also be placed in the trunk intended for the feet when pushed one inside the other.
