Dispositif indicateur de direction à effet lumineux de véhicule à guidon. L'invention a pour objet un dispositif in dicateur de direction à effet lumineux de véhicule à guidon, plus particulièrement de motocyclette, permettant au conducteur du véhicule de signaler an public et à l'agent de circulation la direction qu'il désire suivre.
Ce dispositif comporte, selon l'invention, deux organes avertisseurs à effet lumineux et à commande électrique disposés respecti vement aux extrémités du guidon du véhi cule et dont le circuit d'alimentation est commandé par deux interrupteurs disposés également sur ledit guidon, de manière que le conducteur du véhicule puisse à volonté, sans abandonner le guidon, mettre en cir cuit ou hors circuit l'un ou l'autre des or ganes avertisseurs à effet lumineux.
Le dessin ci-joint montre, à titre d'exem ple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'in vention.
La fig. 1 représente; vue de dessus, la partie antérieure d'une motocyclette dont le guidon est pourvu du dispositif indicateur de direction à effet lumineux; La fig. 2 montre, en coupe et à plus grande échelle, l'une des extrémités du gui don comprenant un organe avertisseur à effet lumineux.
Dans le dessin, on distingue le guidon 3 et les deux poignées tournantes 4 de ce der nier, le phare d'éclairage 5 et le réservoir à essence 6 de la motocyclette. A chaque extrémité du guidon 3 est disposée une lampe électrique 7 montée dans une lanterne 7' qui est ajustée de façon amovible dans le guidon tubulaire. Ces deux lampes 7, qui constituent des organes avertisseurs, de pré férence à lumière rouge, peuvent être ali mentées par une source de courant quelcon que, de préférence par celle qui alimente le phare électrique 5. Toutefois, les lampes peu vent être mises en circuit et hors circuit indépendamment l'une de l'autre, chacune au moyen d'un interrupteur à poussoir 8.
Ces interrupteurs sont placés respectivement à proximité des poignées tournantes 4 qui ser vent habituellement à la commande de cer tains organes de la motocyclette, de manière que le motocycliste puisse commander les interrupteurs, à l'aide du pouce de chaque main, sans qu'il soit obligé d'abandonner les guidons. Ainsi donc, pour signaler au public ou à l'agent de circulation qu'il désire suivre la direction à droite, le motocycliste appuiera, presque sans risque d'erreur, sur l'interrupteur 8 de droite pour donner le signal avertisseur lu mineux correspondant. Dès qu'il cesse d'ap puyer sur le bouton de l'interrupteur, la lampe 7 s'éteint, ce qui permet au moto cycliste de donner un signal avertisseur lu mineux intermittent, à cadence rapide.
Le fonctionnement du dispositif est naturelle ment le même en ce qui concerne 1a com mande du feu avertisseur disposé à l'extré mité gauche du guidon.
La disposition des feux avertisseurs sur les extrémités du guidon assure une parfaite visibilité des signaux lumineux dans un rayon suffisant pour les besoins d'avertisse ment vers l'avant, vers l'arrière, de même qu'en direction latérale par rapport au sens de déplacement du véhicule, vu que les lan ternes 7' comportent non seulement des fe nêtres latérales, mais aussi une fenêtre de plafond.
Il est sous-entendu que la construction des organes avertisseurs à effet lumineux et celle des interrupteurs commandant les cir cuits électriques de ces organes avertisseurs peuvent différer de celles<B>de</B> l'exemple re présenté au dessin.

Thus, to signal to the public or to the traffic officer that he wishes to follow the direction to the right, the motorcyclist will press, almost without risk of error, on the switch 8 on the right to give the corresponding warning signal read. . As soon as he stops pressing the switch button, the lamp 7 goes out, which allows the motorcycle cyclist to give an intermittent warning signal read at a rapid rate.
The operation of the device is of course the same as regards the control of the warning light arranged at the left end of the handlebars.
The arrangement of the warning lights on the ends of the handlebars ensures perfect visibility of the light signals within a radius sufficient for the warning needs towards the front, towards the rear, as well as in the lateral direction with respect to the direction of travel. movement of the vehicle, since the lan terns 7 'include not only side windows, but also a ceiling window.
