--teile verwen- -det man zweckmässig besondere Verbindungs bleche.
Selbstverständlich kann der Flansch eine beliebige andere zweckmässige Form haben.; Fig. 5 stellt ein doppelstegiges T-Profil dar, welches aus einem Rohr gezogen oder ge walzt worden ist;
Metal structural member. The present invention relates to a construction member made of metal, in particular made of light metal, for example high strength aluminum alloy, for the construction of metal frames of all kinds, for example land, sea and air vehicles, as well as stationary structures.
When using light metal in vehicle construction, the aim is to increase the economy of the vehicles by significantly reducing the dead load in order to either increase the payload or to relieve the machine respectively. to achieve greater driving speeds.
The mass, which oscillates back and forth when driving, causes changing stresses in the individual construction elements, which are distributed according to the static and dynamic laws and, for example, are at a maximum at the clamping points. On the basis of this knowledge, the need has arisen to adapt the dimensioning of the structural members to the real force flow.
The present invention makes it possible to solve this problem very effectively by using construction members according to the invention which are characterized in that they have two profiles facing each other with their webs, of which at least one is provided with a double web and the average few At least one part that engages between the webs: the double web and is attached here, to a composite carrier, for example solid wall or lattice girder, are connected.
When the subject of the invention, it is possible, please include to vary its construction height as desired, according to the increase and decrease: the forces that occur; In other words, the construction height: the composite girder can be dimensioned so that its cross-section is adapted to the forces occurring at every point.
As a connecting part respectively. - parts - it is advisable to use special connecting plates. These can be fastened in the double web, for example with screws or rivets. The connecting plates themselves can be provided with reinforcements, for example ribs or recesses, or replaced by connecting profile parts. Of course, if both profiles have a double web, the double webs of one profile abut the double webs of the other, the connecting part BEZW. the connecting plate is not visible.
The distance between the two Ste gene of the double web is expediently dimensioned such that the BEZW. the connecting links are suitably enclosed by the webs on both sides. The game after, for example, the respectively. the connecting plates are bordered, should be or. practically nonexistent.
T-profiles with a double web will be used most often.
One or both profiles, which are used to produce the structural member according to the present invention, can be made into a double-web, T-shaped profile by suitable shaping from sheet metal strips or hollow profiles.
In some cases it is appropriate to use a construction element in which only one profile is provided with a double web, while the other and the connecting element are made from one piece. For example, you can attach the web of a simple, T-shaped profile in the double web of another profile. Instead of a solid, single-web profile whose web is fastened in the double web of the other profile, you can use a profile which BEZW from two or more elements, for example from two angle profile pieces. Angle plates is assembled.
Structural members according to the present invention are advantageously used for the construction of vehicle body frames, although these can of course also have other structural members. The new structural members for the construction of aircraft are also ribbed. But they are also used for boat hull frames, as well as for movable or stationary frame or half-timbered structures.
The constructions in question can both partially and entirely consist of structural members according to the invention.
In the drawings execution examples are shown.
Fig. 1 shows a cross-section through a structural member, which consists of two double-web T-profiles with inserted standing respectively. Gusset plate is put together. To illustrate different types of fastening, the fastening of the connecting plate is on one side. by riveting, shown on the other side by screwing.
Normally, of course, you will use either one or the other type of attachment; Fig. 2. is a view of the construction member of Fig. 1. On the left, a long connecting plate is indicated, on the right a shorter web; Fig. 3 shows another view of a structural member in which the double-web profiles go from left to right from each other by, for example, the moment of resistance increases accordingly, the wax sen of the bending moment to the right.
In this figure, the connecting plates are also drawn as diagonal struts; 4 shows a double-continuous T-profile; the flange is slightly bent on the left and right in the direction of the web for the purpose of stiffening.
Of course, the flange can have any other suitable shape. Fig. 5 shows a double-web T-profile which has been drawn from a pipe or rolled GE;
6 and 7 illustrate double-web profiles which have been produced from a sheet metal strip; Fig. 8 shows the section through a construction member which is made from a double-web T-profile with an inserted, normal T-profile.
In this case, only a double-web profile is used; Fig. 9 shows another game Ausführungsbei, in which two arbitrarily shaped angle profiles BEZW. Angle plates are connected to a double-web profile; Fig. 10 shows the use of construction members according to the invention in a road vehicle body frame. It represents a frame. From the node a to the node b the post of the structural member tapers, since greater forces occur below than above.
The double-web profiles then diverge again from node b,, da. there act like the greater forces. In order to make things easier and to save material, this post is instead of a series of shorter standing sheets. provided with a long sheet as a connecting element between the double-web profiles. c represents a profiled belt which is pulled through the post. The Darge presented training of the structural member allows the attachment of straps and other transverse to the support plane.
Elements without affecting the strength of the support at the point of intersection due to an interruption. would have to be. The indicated belt c has, for example, a U-profile. In order that an example of a full-walled composite coupling element according to the invention is illustrated, the upper cross member of the example according to FIG. 10 has been drawn with a single sheet metal strip as a connecting element between the two double-web profiles.
At junction a, the inner double-web profile of the post goes without interruption in .den lower cross member, in which it then forms the upper double-web profile. The outer double-web profile of the post can also be arranged in such a way that it merges into the lower cross member without interruption at node a. At the node a, the double-web profiles are connected with a gusset plate d.
The lower cross member shows how, for example, a truss can be developed. As connecting cross bars between tween the double-web profiles, Pro filstücks are shown; Fig. 11 shows a section along s-s of Fig. 10 on a larger scale.
As a rule, light metals may only be cold-bent, which very often makes desired shaping work impossible or makes it very expensive. In the construction element according to the invention, the shaping can easily be achieved by cold bending by the two pro files, which can be given a relatively small resistance torque, slightly bent individually and only then combined who the.
A single pressed or rolled profile with the same moment of inertia as the composite beam could never undergo the same bending work.
The present invention makes it possible to meet a basic principle of all metal constructions without additional work and without loss of economic viability, namely symmetrical carriers and nodes to be produced and to ensure good connectivity.
For light metal constructions it is noteworthy that the rivets in the double-web profile are only subjected to double-cut and faultless loads when they are sheared off.
The assembly of the profile-like construction member with the help of one or two double-web special profiles and standing or gusset plates pushed into them bie tet, the following. The great advantage that resistance and inertia moments can largely be adapted to the moment curve, which enables a very economical construction.
A single special profile can be used for the most varied of constructions, which is an advantage for manufacturing and storage. The appropriate measures can readily be taken to simplify and improve connection work between a construction element according to the invention and any other construction element as possible. Longitudinal members in a car body, for example, can be pushed through in one piece without individual connection points having to be weakened.
The structural members according to the invention are preferably made of light metal, for example high strength aluminum alloy; However, other suitable metals, for example high-quality steel, can also be considered.
