Stecker vorn iehtung.
I>D</I> sitzende Rippe<I>r</I> greift.
Connector at the front. The present invention relates to a connector device with seated handle on the connector body and in this at right angles to the connector axis arranged execution bore for the connector cable, as well as with a socket with contact protection edge and on the inside seated guide rib.
With such plug devices it is desirable, depending on the local conditions of the installation, to lead the connecting cable into the socket from below or from above, without having to provide two socket types or two different plugs.
This is achieved in the connector device according to the invention in that the connector body is composed of a pin plate and a grip part, which are releasably connected to one another in such a way that they are in two positions offset by 180 ' be able to be fastened in order to be able to connect the connection line to the socket from above or below as required, with only one guide groove for the rib of the socket being provided on the pin plate in order to ensure the correct insertion of the plug into the socket .
Thanks to this arrangement, it is sufficient to adjust the two parts of the plug body against each other so that the plug handle always assumes the correct position in which the neck surrounding the connecting line protrudes downwards.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown in the drawing, namely: Figure 1 is an interior view of the handle part of the plug body; Fig. 2 shows a section through the longitudinal axis of the plug; 8 and 4 show two mutually perpendicular views of the plug with a thin supply cable; Figures 5 and 6 show a detail of the plug body in view and section; 7 and 8 show a view of the plug from above and below.
The plug body of the plug shown in the drawing breaks down into two main parts, namely the handle part 1 and the pin plate 2, which is connected to this by two screws 3, for the purpose of more accurate centering of the handle part 1 with a shoulder la in a corresponding recess the pin plate 2 protrudes. The screws 3 sit in the inner projections of the handle part in a plane perpendicular to the direction of the Lei device neck 1a attached to the handle and are screwed in from the underside of the pin plate so that they cannot be loosened when the plug is inserted.
The pin plate 2 has an overhead groove 2a on the circumference, which ensures correct insertion of the plug by engaging over the inner rib <I> r </I> on the contact protection edge B of the socket <I> D </I> . To continue this groove, the handle part on the circumference has two diametrically opposed grooves 1c of the same cross-sectional shape as the groove 2a, namely the lower of the two grooves in a A set piece lb (Fig. 5 and 6), which in the handle part can be inserted and pulled out of it.
The handle part is provided with a line neck 1d, the bore of which corresponds to the curvature of the largest existing cable diameter and has an edge for the purpose of better holding the connection cable.
On the line neck 1d a clamp 4 is screwed to complement the sen, and indeed sit the heads of the connecting screws 5 turned inward, so that the same can not be solved when the plug is inserted.
The hole in the clamp is also rimmed. Fig. 3 shows the connector with a thin and Fig. 7 with a thick connection cable K. Between the diameter limits given in FIGS. 3 and 7, any cable can be inserted and clamped without a special replaceable insert being necessary.
The handle part, designed as a hollow body made of insulating material, has a slightly curved cover part 1e adjoining the line neck, which has a circumferential bead, which enables a comfortable and safe detection of the plug.
When the cable is drawn in, the plug parts are separated from one another, the insert 1b is pulled out and the clamp 4 is removed. After the cable is attached to the pins, not shown, of the contact, the handle is pushed onto it, the cable being inserted into the neck of the line, the insert 1b inserted, the handle attached to the pin plate by means of the screws 3 and then screwed the clamp 4 tight.
In the drawing, the Steckvorrich device is shown for an installation with connection to the socket from above. If the socket has to be connected from below, i.e. offset by 180, then the pin plate is also attached to the handle part rotated by <B> 180 '</B>, which then maintains the same position as shown.
