Metallfenster.
Metal window. In the case of metal windows, it is known that the bars of both the fixed frame and. of the casement from profile iron with L-, T- or U-shaped cross-section and to equip both frames with interlocking, in cross-section L-shaped attachment strips for mutual sealing of the frames when the window is closed Legs of the U-shaped frame in cross-section are of unequal length and the legs of unequal length of the two frames, which are turned with their open sides against each other, to put their flanks against each other.
In the first case, the rolling of the rods with L-shaped approaches offers considerable difficulties and both adjacent frames have a lot of light concluding width together, while in the second case the thighs worked on one side surface who have to, thereby reducing manufacturing costs can be made considerably more expensive. The invention now provides a metal window with a fixed frame formed from profile rods and such a sash frame in which the disadvantages mentioned are avoided.
The innovation is that the profile bars forming the frame have a U-shaped cross-section approximately in the middle .the entire bar width, the bars in the frame in the width direction about half the width of the U-profile to each other ver, the .schkel der U-profiles directed against one another and the inner legs when the window is closed are shorter than the outer and engage in the profile groove of the opposite frame rod, the whole thing so that the rods of both frames form a kind of labyrinth seal when the window is closed.
Such frame bars can be rolled like ordinary profile bars and still require no processing on the legs to achieve a good seal. When the window is closed, the two frame bars lying on top of one another are only slightly wider than a single frame bar.
. In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter are shown.
Fig. 1 to 3 apply c for both Ausfüh approximate forms; Fig. 1 is a cross section through the pro filstab of the frame, Fig. 2 is a cross section through the profile rod of the sash, Fig. 3 is a cross section through both Pro filstäb with the sash closed, Fig. 4 is a side view of the window according to one embodiment, Fig:
5 is a cross-section through the window along the line V-W in Fig. 4, Fig. 6 is a view of the window of the second embodiment with half-open system sash, which is pivotably mounted on the lower and upper rod in the fixed frame, Fig. 7 is a cross-section the line xy of Fig. 6, and Fig. 8 is a cross section through the La gerschenkel of the window according to Fig. 4 and 5 on a larger scale.
The profile bar c shown in Fig. 1 has a U-profile approximately in the middle of the entire width with a longer leg e and a shorter leg f. In this profile bar, the leg e merges at its free end into a sideways outwardly projecting strip e 'which is identical to the frame plane and which serves to support a pane of glass, filling, or a window cover. The leg e is longer than the shorter leg f by about the thickness of a sealing insert a lying in the bottom of the profile groove.
At the foot of the leg f, a cover strip n protruding sideways outward is arranged. The profile bar d (Fig. 2 and ss) also has a U-profile with a short leg h and a long leg i approximately in the middle of its entire width. From the foot: -the legs h and i each have a strip of the flanges k or: k1 protruding sideways to the outside, the former being slightly wider than the latter.
The strips e 'and k have a longitudinal groove W to accommodate putty or another suitable, flexible covering material. One of the leg e respectively. i outwardly protruding thickening q resp. q "forms a good abutment for the putty, so that it does not come loose from the profile rod even with high wind pressure on the glass pane l '. A sealing insert b lies on the bottom of the profile groove.
The leg h is by the thickness of the insert b respectively. a shorter than the leg i. The two profile bars c and d are offset to one another by half the width of the U-profile in the frame plane and transversely to the longitudinal direction of the bar. When the window is closed, the short leg engages each profile rod between the two legs of the other profile rod (Fig. 3 and 8) and also lie with their end surfaces on the sealing inserts a and b.
This results in a kind of labyrinth seal with three air cushions r; s, t, of which r and t outwards through the longer legs e respectively. i of the other pro filstabes gripping strips n and k 'are closed. This type of seal creates an airtight seal between the profile bars of the two frames when the window is closed, without the need to edit the profile bars at any point.
The production of such Pro filstänke by rolling does not give any difficulties. According to FIGS. 4 and 8, the sash frame d is on one of its vertical legs with a side leg of the stationary one. Frame mens c pivotable by two hinges x, mounted. The entire casement d swivels when opening, as with a common casement window to one side of the fixed frame.
In Fig. 8 is ersicht Lich how by means of an angle b 'and a screw g' the profile rod c of the fixed frame is attached to the window walls f '. In the embodiment of the metal window shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the window is mounted on the upper and lower horizontal legs in the corresponding legs of the fixed frame, so that when the window is opened, the one on one side of the axis of rotation u'-t ' lying part of the window sash inwards and the other side swings outwards.
The wing frame consists on one side of the axis of rotation of profile bars d and on the other side of profile bars c. In an analogous manner, the fixed frame is formed from profile bars c on the first-mentioned side and from profile bars d on the other side; wherein the rods of the two sides are rotated by 180 about their longitudinal axis to each other. Accordingly, the profile rods of the two .Seiten of the sash are rotated by 180 around their longitudinal nose, so that when the window is closed, the profile rods of both frames with their U-profile legs, as shown in Fig. 3, interlock .
In the case of the game shown in Fig. 6 and 7, the pivot q 'of the Flügelrah mens are arranged outside the frame plane of both the fixed frame and the Flügelrah mens.
Instead of these lateral pivot pins q ', the profile rods of the two frames can be supported one inside the other in their central planes and provided with recesses that enable rotation, into the circular, serving as pivot pins, on one of the frames attached, for example welded (or engage loosely rotatable) arranged body.
In the same way, the sash frame can be mounted on the stationary frame so that it can rotate about a horizontal axis instead of a vertical axis.
When the window is closed, close its frame: on both sides with flat surfaces, which is advantageous for the appearance of the window and from a structural point of view and makes it easy to clean the frame.
