Double swivel joint for support arms of electric lights, especially for table arms of such. The subject of the invention is a double swivel joint for electric lights, especially intended as an ankle joint for table arms such.
Except for the ball joints for this purpose, all known joints of this type are guided centrally in their horizontal movement by a bolt. To accommodate the Verti kalverbindes schwin ing, projecting eyes are arranged on this bolt, or the bolt with nut is above or below the braking components. Both of these lead to vibrations in the luminaire, because the projecting design is necessary. The ball joints of this type of lights have only a limited field of motion, and the braking in the various planes of rotation is unequal.
The above disadvantages are eliminated by the present invention in which the base plate of the joint rests on the support surface and the central bolt is no longer necessary. The adjustment of the frictional pressure is possible compared to various known designs even with the device attached.
The horizontal movement is achieved according to the invention in that a disc is arranged within a capsule that is slipped over an extension of the base plate and is centered. through a. Hole of the capsule can be screwed against the base plate by screws to be used and the capsule leads and brakes by means of an edge provided on this or a snap ring on its inner wall angeord designated snap ring in its horizontal rotation relative to the base plate.
The joint for the vertical movement can be formed in that a roller is mounted directly above the center of the capsule by means of two eyes, around which a joint part can slide with adjustable friction.
Fig. 1 to 3 of the accompanying drawing shows the double swivel joint according to the invention in an exemplary embodiment. Figs. 4 and 5 show two further embodiments.
The base plate f (Fig. 1 to 3), which also serves as a fastening part, has an annular elevation o. The capsule d is slipped over this elevation and accommodates the open snap ring n in the annular groove e. Through the conical disc g on the Unifang, the ring ya is pushed into the ring groove e by means of three screws, where it is connected to the base plate f by means of three screws so that it can be rotated and braked. The screws are tightened through the hole p in the rotatable bottom of the capsule.
Immediately above the center of the capsule d is mounted in the eyes r and r 'the roller locked with the screw 1, around which the joint part a carrying the lamp arm k can slide. The frictional pressure of the joint part a can be adjusted by arranging the slot zu and the screw b. According to the example of "Fig. 4, the capsule is via the neck 24 of the base plate f as the central guide for the capsule d, which has a cone on its inner wall.
Inside the capsule is the conical on the circumference for the purpose of introducing two-part disc g, which brakes the capsule on the cone of the capsule wall when it rotates horizontally by means of the screws h. The two half parts of the disk g are through the pin o; centrally guided. According to the example in Fig. 5, the flat ring s leading to the extension u of the base plate is fastened to the foot edge of the capsule d . The washer g , which was previously inserted into the capsule and fastened to the base plate f by means of the screws h, brakes the capsule d against your ri! Ig s.
