Device for remote control of a Nehrzabl adjustable organs. The invention relates to a device for remote control of a plurality of adjustable organs via a common long-distance line by means of alternating current pulses. The invention is suitable, for example, for the remote control of the switches present in large numbers in an electrical power distribution system.
According to the invention, the relays used to actuate the organs are preceded by electrical valves, so that the individual relays can respond either only to one or only to the other half-waves of the transmitted alternating current. The arrangement can be made so that different frequencies are transmitted from the main body and that there are always two of the relays used to actuate the organs, one of which only applies to the positive, the other only to the negative half-waves can speak to the same frequency are tuned.
The relay tuned to the same frequency can serve to adjust the same organ in one direction or the other. The frequency generators provided for supplying the frequencies are expediently designed in such a way that the half-waves of the frequencies generated by them have a sharp curve shape.
The drawing shows Ausführungsbei games of the invention.
In the remote control device shown in Fig. 1, two selector relays, for example 13, 14, or 17, 18, which are tuned to different frequencies, are assigned to each adjustable element. This selection relay speak due to the interposition of rectifiers 15, 16, 19, 20 only on the positive BEZW. negative half waves: on. In this way, the number of relays controllable with a certain number of frequencies can be doubled.
In the main unit there is an alternating current source 3, which can for example be a set of generators that are driven at different but constant speeds via gearwheels by a motor rotating at a constant speed. One pole of each generator is connected to the line 2, while the other poles are connected to the busbars 4, 5 respectively. 6 are connected. The alternating currents can also be generated in any other suitable manner. Selector switches 7 and 8 are normally open.
If a control process is to be made, you can len the connection between one of the busbars with the line 1 herstel. The contact arms 7 and 8 can be moved over the selector contacts without touching them, unless @that they are pressed down. The resistors 9 and 10 are arranged for the purpose of limiting the leakage currents via the selector switches 7 and 8.
In the main station there are also rectifiers 11 and 12, so that the frequency relays 13 and 17 can only respond if the associated frequencies are transmitted via the selector switch 7, while the relays 14 and 18 can only be energized via the switch 8 . How in detail the commands and the feedback are transmitted is irrelevant for this embodiment.
In Fig. 2, a frequency relay is shown, which is suitable for the device just described. A wire coil 21 is rotatably mounted on the axes 22 and 33, between the stationary bearings 9 7 and 28. The coil can swing through air gaps 29 and 30 of an electromagnetic 23 and a stationary armature 24.
The coil can also move freely through the air gap 31 and a second air gap, not shown, of an electromagnet 2, 5 with a fixed armature. Although the magnets 23 and 25 are perpendicular to each other for the sake of clarity, it is desirable to make the angle less than 90.
The coil 21 consists of one or more electrical conductors, similar to the electrical coils of a direct current voltmeter. The two ends of the coil .sind to the points 41, 42 out. The two. Axes on which the coil is fastened can serve as a supply line and are then besieged in isolation. A spiral spring is attached to the axis 22 on the one hand and to the electromagnet 23 on the other hand. If: the coil is turned by hand in the opposite direction to the spiral spring, into the air gap 31 and then suddenly released, it will oscillate for some time and then finally return to the position shown.
The frequency of these vibrations is determined by the dimensions of the coil and the spiral spring. The voice coil therefore represents a coordinated system, similar to the voice coils in galvanometers. The coil spring can also be replaced by other suitable means.
If an alternating current is pressed at 34, the relay 3.5 is excited, which attracts its armature 36 against the spring .37. This closes an excitation circuit from the battery 39 via the armature 36 and the contact 38 for the coil 2.1 and for the excitation coil 40 of the magnet 25. In addition, a magnetic alternating flux is generated in the coil 43.
Since the current flowing through the coil 21 is exposed to the alternating field in the air gaps 29 and 30, the electrodynamic forces attempt to set the coil 21 in oscillation, which have the frequency of the alternating current flowing in the coil 43. According to the resonance principle, however, the coil 21 will only vibrate with an amplitude worth mentioning if the frequency of the alternating current is the same as the natural frequency of the Sehwingspul.e 21.
In the case of resonance, the amplitude of this oscillation will be so great that the coil 21 swings into the air gap 31. The coil 40 of the magnet 25 is wound in such a direction that the magnetic flux in the. Air gaps 31 and the air gap not provided is the current-carrying coil 21 attracts as soon as the latter wings into the mentioned air gaps. At the same time, a small contact member 46 is pressed against a fixed contact 44, thereby closing an actuating circuit.
If the alternating current 34 is interrupted, the relay '35 is de-energized, the contact 36, 3 $ is opened and thus the magnet 25 and the coil 21 @ are de-energized, so that the frequency relay has returned to the normal rest position. The electromagnet 25 can also be a permanent magnet instead of an electric magnet.
When the coil 21 is attracted by a permanent magnet and when the current in the coil 21 is interrupted, the electrodynamic force that is applied to: the conductors of the coil 21 disappears, and the coil 21 returns to its normal position shown .
It is clear that there can never be a positive and negative impulse on the same line at the same time. If positive pulses of a certain frequency and negative pulses of another frequency (Fig. 1) are pressed onto the same conductor, the positive and negative pulses will cancel each other out at certain times. If each impulse is of a very short duration and of a very sharp shape, as shown in Fig. 3, this case will not occur as often as it does if the impulses are of longer duration with short interruptions. are.
As a result, it is desirable that no pulses from a rectified sine wave are used. Fig. 4 shows a generator that can be used to generate suitable pulses.
It has two small poles with a very high flux density, which are designed in such a way that the desired pointed curve shape is achieved. During the greater part of each half revolution the coil 51 does not intersect any lines of force and consequently no electromotive force is generated, while when the coil moves perpendicular to the poles it generates a large electromotive force. It is connected to a slip ring 53 and a commutator segment 54.
The segment is supported in relation to the coil such that while a positive electromotive force is being generated, the segment moves under the brush 55 and while a negative electromotive force is being generated, it moves under the brush 56 . The electrical contact between the segment and the brush is then closed. It is only interrupted while no electromotive force is generated.
As already mentioned in the description of FIG. 1, a strong current flows from the selector switch 8 to the selector switch 7 when a positive pulse is applied to line 1 at the same time as a negative pulse. In order to prevent damage to the alternating current source 3, limiting resistors 9 and 10 are arranged in FIG. In Fig. 5 a circuit is shown in which this permanent loss is avoided and the Weeheel.strom- source is sufficiently .protected.
The generators 61 and .62 transmit polarized frequency currents of different frequencies via rectifiers 70 and 71. The pulses coming from the generator 61 flow through a coil 66 on the primary side of a transformer 65 and the pulses coming from the generator 62 flow through a coil 67 arranged next to the coil 66. The coils 66 and 67 have the same direction of winding, so that in the event of a current from the generator .611 to the generator 62, the pulses flow through the coils 6-6 and 67 in series and generate a strong flux in the transformer core.
The secondary winding 68 of the transformer 65 is connected to a resistor 69 to the. When a strong pulsating current flows in the primary winding of the transformer 65, a strong current will flow through the secondary coil 68 and the resistor 69. The strong secondary current in the coil 68 in turn induces a strong counter-electromotive force in the primary movements 66 and 67 and therefore limits the circulating current, which can also be supported by suitable dimensioning of the transformer 65.
In order to keep the voltage drop in the primary windings 66 and 67 as small as possible under normal conditions, the M: a.gnetisierungscharalk- teristik is chosen so that the pulses are of relatively small force compared to those on which they are caused by the resistance of lines 1, 2 are limited and that they generate a flux that is not higher than the lower knee of the magnetization curves, as shown in Fig. 6, where the magnetization current through 0-A </ I> is shown.
When the magnitude of the magnetization current, which is caused by a strong circulating current, has increased to a value of 0-13, it is clear that the flux generated by the course of the Xagnetization curve increases more than the magnetization current. The current through the secondary winding therefore grows, which in turn generates a greater counter-electromotive force in the primary windings 66, 67. Therefore, the counter electromotive force in the primary windings is normally very small, but significantly greater when a circulating current flows between the generators 61 and 62.
