Fig. 1 zeigt einen Schnitt längs der Wellenachse durch die Linie I -I von Fig. 2; Fig. 2 ist ein.
Cell centrifugal pump with circulating auxiliary liquid. The invention relates to a cellular centrifugal pump with circulating auxiliary liquid and consists in the fact that the agent to be conveyed is guided in the radial direction into the cellular wheel, for the purpose of not only avoiding the construction aggravating and for the operation un favorable sealing surfaces, but also to a easier flow to get. In an advantageous manner, the agent to be conveyed also emerges from the impeller in the radial direction. In the axial direction, the Zeil- lenrad can overlap the housing separating the suction chamber from the pressure chamber, in such a way that the seal only has to take place along a cylindrical surface concentric to the shaft axis.
With this design, the sealing of surfaces in the radial direction (i.e. the arrangement of axial play) can be replaced by the sealing in the axial direction, i.e. by arranging the necessary play in the radial direction, which not only has significant advantages for the Assembly, but also for operating the pump.
An embodiment of the subject invention, which relates to a specific for För derung of air pump is shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows a section along the shaft axis through the line I -I of Fig. 2; Fig. 2 is a. Section through line II-II from FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a section through line III-III from FIG. 2.
On the shaft 1, which is carried by the bearings 2 and 3, the cellular wheel 5 is enclosed in a housing 4 and is fastened by a wedge 6. The agent to be conveyed, for example also a liquid or a gas, is sucked in through the suction line 7 and expelled through the pressure line 8 (FIG. 2).
The housing 4 has a bell-shaped part 9 surrounding the shaft 1, which has a wing 10 directed against the suction space and a wing 11 directed against the pressure chamber, from which wings a partition wall 12 extends which separates the suction chamber 13 from the pressure chamber 14 separates. The shaft 1 and the cell wheel 5 are arranged eccentrically with respect to the center of the housing interior.
The cellular wheel 5 (Fig. 1) is provided with any number of blades 19, such that the individual cells 20 are limited in the axial direction by the wheel itself and not by the housing. The wheel overlaps the bell-shaped part 9 in the axial direction, as well as the blades 10 and 11 separating the suction chamber from the pressure chamber and is only in the axial direction, that is to say along the circumference on the surfaces 15 and on the blades 10 and 11, that is, to seal along a cylindrical surface concentric to the shaft axis.
The working space of the cellular wheel, which can be driven in any way, for example via a back gear or by direct coupling, is partially filled with a liquid 21 and closed off by the cover 16. Stuffing boxes 17 and 18 are provided in a known manner for sealing the shaft.
The operation of the pump is as follows: The cell, which is completely filled with auxiliary fluid at 822, can be partially emptied as a result of the rotation indicated by the arrow 23 and the centrifugal force generated thereby, thereby causing a conveying medium emerging from the suction chamber 13 through the opening 30 , for example sucking in a gas. The centrifugal force pushes the auxiliary liquid ring continuously against the housing wall, so that due to the eccentric arrangement of the star feeder with respect to the interior of the housing, the space available for the radially entering the cells to be conveyed becomes larger and reaches its maximum at 26 .
There the suction chamber 13 is sealed off from the pressure chamber 14 by the wing 11, so that the conveying medium is compressed in the decreasing space, pressed through the opening 24 into the pressure chamber 14 and diverted from there through the pressure line 8. A working stroke is thus ended in that the cell 25 is already filled with auxiliary liquid, so that after the vein-sealing wing 10 has passed, a new working stroke starts again.
In contrast to known designs, operating disruptions due to thermal expansion, as well as installation difficulties, are avoided with this pump because, in contrast to these, in the case of the pump described, the cell wheel 5 only has to be sealed off from the housing on the inner cylinder surface, but not on the lateral flat surfaces or on the outer cylindrical surfaces. The friction losses on the outer and side surfaces that occur with machines with a sickle-shaped work area are also avoided because these do not have to be sealed.
In addition, this design also ensures that the openings intended for the entry and exit of the medium to be conveyed are kept very large, i.e. they can be turned over the entire width of the impeller. As a result of the lower speed of the working medium achieved as a result, the contraction and thus also the losses of the conveying medium are smaller.
The described design also results in a simple, clarified flow and, which is particularly important for the pumping of liquids, an even load on the auxiliary liquid ring over the entire width of the wheel.
As a result, a calm surface of the auxiliary liquid ring is obtained so that only a little of it is carried along with the agent to be conveyed.
The application of the invention is not ürlieh limited to pumps with eccentric impellers arranged in a circular housing, but can also be used with other housing shapes, for example with housings with circulation channels.
