Sehachtel. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Schachtel, welche sich dadurch auszeichnet, dass sowohl die Deckelplatte, als auch die Bodenplatte einen über die Seitenwände der Schachtel vorstehenden Rand aufweisen, des sen Höhe ein Mehrfaches der Dicke des Schachtelwandmaterials beträgt.
Auf der Zeichnung sind mehrere bei spielsweise Ausführungsformen des Erfin dungsgegenstandes veranschaulicht, und zwar zeigt: Fig. 1 eine Schachtel mit Deckel- und Bodenplatte; Fig. 2 bis 6 zeigen weitere Ausführungs formen im Querschnitt; Fig. 7 zeigt eine Schachtel mit je einer in ihrer ganzen Ausdehnung als Hohlkörper ausgebildeten Deckel- und Bodenplatte; Fig. 8 zeigt eine Schachtel mit doppelter Zarge, angelenkt je an Deckelplatte und Bo denplatte; Fig. 9 zeigt eine weitere Ausführungs form der Schachtel;
Fig._ 10 zeigt eine Ecke eines Deckel- bezw. Bodenplattenzuschnittes im fertigen Zustande, jedoch nicht angebracht (angeklebt oder angeheftet) auf Deckelplatte bezw. Bo denplatte, mit angelenkter, doppelter Zarge; Fig. 11 zeigt dieselbe Ecke gefaltet; Fig. 12 zeigt einen Querschnitt hierzu; Fig. 13 bis 20 zeigen Querschnitte durch verschiedene Deckelplatten;

Gemäss Fig. 1 besitzt die Deckelplatte 1 einen über die .Seitenwände der Schachtel hervortretenden Hohlrand 2, welcher durch Falten und darauf folgendes Kleben ent sprechend gestalteter Randansätze gebildet ist, wobei die Querschnittsform beliebig ge wählt sein kann. In der gleichen Weise wie .die Deckelplatte, ist auch die Bodenplatte ausgebildet. Der an der Bodenplatte 3 be findliche Hohlrand 4 wird zweckmässig durch die mit ihm verklebte Zarge 5 in Form ge halten.
Gemäss Fig. 2 ist die Schachtelzarge 5 an ihrem untern Rande mit einem recht winklig abgebogenen Ansatz 6 versehen, während die Schachtel nach Fig. 3 eine mit der Schachtelzarge verbundene Bodenplatte 7 aufweist.
Gemäss Fig. 4 ruht die Schachtelzarge auf leistenartigen Randansätzen B. Diese Randansätze sind geeignet, die ohnehin schon grosse Festigkeit der Schachtel zu erhöhen. Die Randansätze können: indessen auch in der aus Fig.5 ersichtlichen Weise in den Hohlrand hineingebogen und dort verklebt sein. Schliesslich kann auch der Hohlrand durch besonderes Aufkleben einer Randleiste 9 gemäss Fig. 6 gebildet sein.
Gemäss der in Fig. 7 veranschaulichten Ausführungsform bilden die Deckel- und die Bodenplatte je einen vollständigen Hohl körper. Der Hohlkörper ist durch einen in seinem Innern vorgesehenen Streifen 12 aus Karton oder dergleichen ausgesteift. Diese Versteifungen können beliebig gestaltet und angeordnet sein. Die die Seitenwände bil denden Schachtelzargen sind an der Deckel- bezw. Bodenplatte angeklebt. Bei der in Fig.8 gezeigten Ausführungsform besitzen die Boden- und die Deckelplatte je eine Hohl wand mit vorstehendem Hohlrand.
Der Rand der Boden- und der Deckelplatte ist zu einer Doppelzarge 13 gestaltet.
Gemäss Fig. 9 ist der an der Deckelplatte 16 bezw. auf der Bodenplatte 17 befind liche Hohlrand 14 bezw. 15 so angeordnet, dass er die Ebene der Deckel- bezw. Boden platte 16 bezw. 17 nicht nur seitlich, sondern auch nach oben überragt.
Gemäss Fig. 10 bis 12 besitzt die Deckel- bezw. Bodenplatte 18 Randansätze 19. Die Ansätze sind an ihren Enden mit Ein- schnitten 20, 21 versehen und so gestaltet, dass sie sich nach ihrer Faltung zum Hohl rand überlappen und gegeneinander ab stützen. Hierdurch wird das gefaltete Werk stück ohne Verwendung von Klebstoff in seiner körperlichen Form festgehalten.
An Stelle dreieckförmiger Einschnitte 21 können auch viereckförmige vorgesehen sein, in wel- chem Falle die mit parallelen Längskanten versehenen Lappen 20' ein genaueres Inein- andergreifen gewährleisten. Je nach der Dicke des verwendeten Materials und der lichten Höhe des durch das Werkstück ge bildeten Hohlkörpers kann dieser durch die verschiedenartigsten Einlagen versteift wer den.
Nach F'ig. 13 ist beispielsweise eine Pappe 22 in den Hohlrand der Deckel- bezw. Bodenplatte eingeschoben, welche Pappe zwecks Gewichtsverminderung rahmenförmig ausgespart sein kann. An Stelle einer Platte kann auch an jeder Ecke eine dreieckige Pappeinlage eingeklemmt oder eingeklebt werden.
Nach Fig. 14 besteht die Einlage aus einem zickzack- oder wellenförmig gebo genen, durchwegs gleich breiten Karton streifen 23. Dieser Streifen kann jedoch auch ungleich breit und so angeordnet sein, dass er eine Wölbung der Deckelplatte nach oben herbeiführt. Durch eine solche Ausbauchung der Deckelplatte wird nicht nur die Festig keit erhöht, sondern auch eine dekorative Wirkung erzielt.
Nach Fig. 15 wird eine, nach Fig. 16 werden zwei kreuzweise übereinander gelegte Wehpappen 24 bezw. 25, 26 zur Versteifung der Deckelplatte angewendet.
Bei der Ausführung nach Fig. 17 ist die Deckelplatte durch eine Pappe 2.7 mit rah menartig verstärktem Rand 27' versteift. Der innerhalb des Rahmens verbleibende Hohlraum kann ausgefüllt werden. Zweck mässig kommt hierfür ein zickzackförmig ge stalteter Kartonstreifen 28 von solcher Ge stalt zur Verwendung, dass die Deckelplatte eine Wölbung nach oben erhält.
Nach Fig. 18 ist in dem Hohlraum der Deckelplatte ein Hohlraum 29 und nach Fig. 19 ebenfalls ein solcher mit darüber ge legter Wellpappe 30 vorgesehen.
Nach Fig. 20 sind mehrere Papplagen 31 und eine Wellpapierauflage 32 im Hohlraum der Deckelplatte untergebracht.
Nach Fig. 21 ist die mit einem Hohlrand 33 versehene Bodenplatte 34 der Schachtel mit der Schachtelzarge 35 durch Klebung verbunden. Der Hohlrand überragt hier die Ebene der Bodenplatte nach unten hin und bildet auf diese Weise einen ringsherum führenden Auflagerrand.
Gemäss Fig.22 bildet die Zarge 36 mit dem Hohlrand 37 ein zusammenhängendes Ganzes, während die Bodenplatte 38 auf den Hohlrand gelegt und an ihm befestigt ist.
Die Ausführungsformen gemäss Fig.23 bis 28 stimmen darin überein, dass der Hohl rand 39, die Bodenplatte 40 und die Zarge 41 aus einem einzigen, entsprechend zuge schnittenen und gefalteten Stück bestehen. Während die Bodeneinlage 42 gemäss Fig. 24 zur Versteifung des Bodens dient, ist die Einlage 43 gemäss Fig. 2,5 weniger zur Ver steifung, als zur Bildung eines Blindbodens bestimmt.
Fig. 29 und 30 zeigen zwei Ausführungs formen, bei denen ein hohler Sockel die Schachtelbodenplatte in besonders wirkungs voller Weise abstützt. In Fig. 29 ist 44 ein ebener Sockel, dessen Mittelteil 45, nachdem er durch diagonale Schnitte in mehrere Drei ecke zerlegt wurde, hochgebogen und mit- telst Lappen 46 an die Bodenplatte 47 be festigt wurde. Die Ausführungsform nach Fit. 30 unterscheidet sich nur dadurch, dass der Hohlsockel 48 nicht durch Faltung, son dern durch Prägung hergestellt ist.
Gemäss Fig. 31 bildet .die Boden- bezw. Deckelplatte 49 bezw. 50 ein massives Stück aus Pappe, Holz-Pappmache oder dergleichen.
Gemäss Fig. 32 besteht die Bodenplatte 51 aus einer Anzahl aufeinander gelegter und durch Klebung miteinander verbundener La mellen. Die Deckelplatte 52 besteht aus einer Hülle 53, deren unterer Abschluss 53' mit der Zarge 54 aus einem Stück gebildet ist. Die Hülle ist mit einem beliebigen Füllstoff 55, zum Beispiel Holzwolle, Papierschnitzel, Zellstoff oder dergleichen ausgestopft, so da,ss sie eine ziemlich steife Platte bildet.
In Fig. 33 ist schliesslich eine Schiebe schachtel gezeigt, bei der die Bodenplatte 56 des Aussenteils starr ist, während die Deckel platte<B>67</B> des Schiebeteils aus einer Hülle 58 besteht, in welche mehrere Stäbe 59 hochkant und dicht aneinander gefügt sind.
Die Schachtel kann auch mit Papier überzogen sein.
