Description
Verfahren zum Regenerieren von bei der elektrolytischen Herstellung von Perborat verendeten Lösungen. In dem Hauptpatent ist ein Verfahren zum Regenerieren von bei der elektroly tischen Herstellung von Natriumperborataus Soda. und Borax im Kreislauf verwendeten Elektrolytlösungen beschrieben worden, bei dem man die Lösungen mit Silicagel auf kocht und von diesem wieder befreit.
Es hat sich nun herausgestellt, dass man dieses Aufkochen der Elektrolytlösung vor teilhaft unter mässigem Überdruck vornimmt und für Aufwirbelung des Gels in der ko chenden Lösung Sorge trägt, worauf man die Lösungen nach Absetzenlassen des Gels von diesem wieder befreit. Das Aufwirbeln ist zum Beispiel durch mechanische Rühr- vorrichtungen oder vermittelst Hindurch leitens von Luft oder Dampf usw. leicht zu erreichen. Das Regenerieren geht hierbei schneller und wirksamer vor sich.
Man kann zum Beispiel mit guten Ergeb nissen im Dauerbetrieb arbeiten, wenn man die Elektrolytlösungen vor ihrer erneuten Verwendung zur Elektrolyse mit Soda, ver- setzt und im geschlossenen Kessel mit Sili- cagel unter Aufwirbeln etwa eine Stunde lang aufkocht. Man verwendet etwa 2 gr Silicagel auf 1 1 Lösung. Als Überdruck wählt man etwa einen solchen von 3 Atmos phären. Die So-dazugabe regelt sich nach der Menge des ausgeschiedenen Perborats.
Wenn man eine im Kreislauf benutzte Elektrolytlösung nach Abseheidung des ge bildeten Natriumperborats in geeigneten Zeit- a1ständ'en der vorstehend beschriebenen Be handlung unterwirft und für Ersatz des ver brauchten Borax Sorge trägt, so kann man ohne Schwierigkeit Dauerstromausbeuten von <B>60</B> bis 65 % erzielen.
