Description

Fugenloser Steinholz-Bodenbelag.

Seamless stone wood flooring. In the production of seamless stone wood flooring, people have repeatedly tried to use cellulose or wood pulp as a filler instead of sawdust or wood flour. These attempts have failed because cellulose, like ground wood, still contains unfilled cells, which swell in floors that are not cared for and washed with a lot of water, thereby destroying the dressing.

Experiments have now shown that ground paper in the mentioned 1VIischungen opens up and admixes and that fine shredded paper, paper yarn and paper tissue, z. B. paper cords to form an advance reinforcement, where it is a question of obtaining a long-fiber foot floor covering as possible in order to prevent the formation of cracks when the base moves.

Grinded paper consists of wood and fabric fibers that have already hardened and the entire cells of which have been filled or destroyed during the paper manufacturing process. It can be obtained by sanding off cardboard, paper, for example waste, etc., especially by means of discs.

For the reasons mentioned, paper in larger form, such as fine shredded paper, paper yarn or paper tissue, is used in the floor covering forming the subject of the present invention as filler material and paper grind as reinforcement. To increase the crack and tensile strength of the floor, sawdust, wood flour and talc can also be added to the flooring.
