Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung von     koffeinfreiem        Kaffee.       Bei den bekannten Verfahren zur Her  stellung von koffeinfreiem Kaffee werden Ex  traktionsapparate verwendet, in denen den  ganzen Kaffeebohnen das Koffein mittelst  Lösungsmittel mit oder ohne Druckeinwirkung  entzogen wird, wobei nur einige bestimmte       Lt:sungsmittel    Anwendung finden. Es hat  sich nun gezeigt, dass bei Druckerhöhungen  bis auf mindestens 15 Atmosphären sich die  Zahl der anwendbaren Lösungsmittel erhöhen  lässt, indem überhaupt alle Koffeinlösungs  mittel nutzbare Anwendung finden. Eine ein  fache Ausführungsform des Verfahrens gemäss  der Erfindung beruht darauf, das     Koffein     den ganzen Kaffeebohnen unter Anwendung  von mindestens 15 Atmosphären Druck, z. B.

    in einem     Autoklaven    mit Hilfe eines Kohlen-.       wasserstoffes    oder dessen     halogenierten    Deri  vaten, z. B. Benzin,     Toluol,        Tetrachlorkohlen-          stoff,    zu entziehen.  



  Ebenso finden Anwendung sämtliche Stoffe  der     Ketonengruppe,    wie zum Beispiel     Diäthyl-          keton,        Mesityloxyd        etc.,    sowie die ganze    Gruppe von Alkoholen, z. B.     Allylalkohol,          Propylalkohol        etc.     



  Das Entziehen des Koffeins mittelst     Kohlen-          wasserstoffen,        Ketonen    oder Alkoholen kann  mit oder ohne     Zusatz    von alkalisch wirken  den Stoffen, wie Natronlauge, Kalilauge,  Kalk     etc.    geschehen.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung von koffein freiem Kaffee, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die ganzen Kaffeebohnen unter An wendung von mindestens 15 Atmosphären Druck der Wirkung eines Lösungsstoffes aus setzt. UNTERANSPRUCH: Verfahren nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass alkalische Stoffe zugesetzt werden.
