Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Anthracenderivates.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein neues       Anthracenderivat,        die2,3-Anthracerimerkaptö-          karbonsäure    erhält, wenn man die     2,3-Anthra-          chinonmer-kaptokarbonsäure        mitgeeigrreterr    Re  duktionsmitteln behandelt.  



  Das so dargestellte Produkt bildet ein hell  oranges Pulver, das sich in     Schwefelsäurebraun     löst, und aus dieser Lösung als     olivebraune     Flocken mit Wasser gefällt wird. Alkalien  lösen gelbbraun zum Unterschied von den  rotvioletten Lösungen der     Anthrachinonmer-          kaptokarbonsäure.    Die     2,3-Anthracenmerkap-          tokarbonsäure    ist ein wertvolles Zwischenpro  dukt zur Herstellung von     Farbstoffen.            Beispiel:

         30 Teile     2,3-Anthrachirronmerkaptokarbou-          säure,    400 Teile Ammoniak 12 % und 60 Teile  Zinkstaub werden unter gutem Rühren 4-5  Stunden auf 80-90   erwärmt. Die zunächst  tief kirschrote Lösung geht     während    der Re-         duktion    in braun über. Dann wird abgesaugt  und mit Säure gefällt.

The 2,3-anthracene mercapto carboxylic acid is a valuable intermediate product for the manufacture of dyes. Example:

         30 parts of 2,3-anthrachirron mercaptocarbous acid, 400 parts of ammonia 12% and 60 parts of zinc dust are heated to 80-90 for 4-5 hours with thorough stirring. The initially deep cherry-red solution turns brown during the reduction. Then it is suctioned off and precipitated with acid.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Anthracen- derivates, der 2,3-Anthracerrmerkaptokarbon- säure, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die 2,3- Anthrachirronmerkaptokarbonsäure mit geeig neten Reduktionsmitteln behandelt wird. Das so dargestellte Produkt bildet ein helloranges Pulver, das sich in Schwefelsäure braun löst, und aus dieser Lösung als olive braune Flocken mit Wasser gefällt wird.
