Multi-part pressure compensation piston valve, especially for locomotives. The invention relates to a multi-part Druckausgleiohkolbenschieber, in particular special for locomotives, which is characterized in that the individual slide bodies each consist of two piston-shaped parts, of which -the part located on the flow side when shutting off the steam, if necessary with the action of a spring, it is moved on the part that is stuck on the slide rod,
that a connection of the space between the two valve body parts with the outflow space is created.
This ensures that - with the omission of any valve - a completely unimpeded pressure equalization is available when idling, as well as a sufficiently large connection with the outflow space and, in all cases, the inflow space when exceptionally high pressures and water hammers occur is permanently closed abge from the outflow space.
The drawing illustrates a spring-loaded embodiment of the new pressure equalizing piston valve.
Fig. 1 shows in a longitudinal section through the valve housing the pressure compensation piston valve in the state when the locomotive is idling. Compared to the section through the steam cylinder, the section through the piston slide is intended to be folded upwards by <B> 90 '</B>; Figure 2 is a longitudinal section through a single spool valve body showing the top half. the figure shows the slide body in the open state, the lower half in the closed state.
The slide part c, which is firmly screwed to it by the nut b, sits on the slide rod a. On the hub of the slide part c is the achsia.l. Movable Sphieber part e arranged, in which the spring f completely encapsulated with the sleeve d and gel.:# cooled by the air of the outflow rests.
The function of the pressure equalizing piston valve is as follows: If steam flows from the boiler into the cylinder h near the opening of the regulator, the steam pressure, which is considerably higher than the pressure of the spring f, causes the movable piston part e to hold the firmly seated part c zedrücl ;; t, d. H. the piston body is closed, and as long as the locomotive is working on steam, it remains closed in a.lkri Lasen.
When the locomotive is idling, i.e. 1i. immediately after the regulator has shut off the steam, whereby the pressure in the inflow space E of the cylinder ceases, the loose,

the stuck parts i., and the result is, as the arrow clearly illustrates,
an unobstructed and sufficiently large connection between the spaces in front of and behind the piston h through the exhaust space A of the cylinder, whereby,; eae @ er @ inaung with the inflow space E in the cylinder and the inflow pipe remains permanently blocked.
The locomotive keeps running smoothly, smoothly and smoothly, as there is neither negative nor positive pressure during work. of the steam piston arises. Thus, no braking effect is generated that would be noticeable as a loss of speed when driving downhill.
Another advantage is that there is no need for cold air to flow into the inflow spaces that have just been under the high temperature of the superheated steam, such as the pipeline and steam cylinder: there are therefore no cracks or fractures in the cylinder walls. as has often been stated so far.
When exceptionally high pressures occur in the cylinder space, e.g. B. by water hammer, the Seliieber opens itself actively and gives an immediate relaxation after the exhaust side of the cylinder.
If this piston valve is used, all special drains, air suction and safety valves, along with pipelines and connections, can be omitted, reducing the size of the harmful spaces in the cylinders, resulting in very significant cost savings with the new one Creation and the operational maintenance of Lo l; omotive can be achieved.
The new pressure equalizing piston valve can be used for both internal and external controls. The springs f can also be omitted, since they only have the purpose of immediately after locking de:
Steam and without creating an overpressure by the steam piston to open the view, and so without any delay
