Description

Baustein.

Building block. In order to be able to save working time in the production of masonry, cement and other artificial building blocks larger than the usual standard format are now used, which naturally have a correspondingly greater weight and are therefore more difficult to grasp and lift or are less easy to handle are.

In order to remedy these disadvantages when bricking such larger building blocks as far as possible, at least one notch is provided in the building block forming the subject matter of the invention for easier handling on at least one abutment surface, into which the worker can put his fingers.

From the subject matter of the invention, two Ausführungsbei are playing through FIGS. 1, 2 are shown diagrammatically in the accompanying drawings.

The block 1 drawn in Fig. 1 be seated on the opposing abutment surfaces three elongated notches 2 of a good finger-width cross-sectional size, through which favorable gripping points are created. All three notches are visibly towards their longitudinal ends at a distance from the relevant edges of the stone. Two of these three notches are parallel to each other and are used to handle the stone when it is to be moved upright. Between these two notches is the third notch, which is perpendicular to the former and is used to handle the stone when it is to be moved horizontally.

In contrast, in the example according to FIG. 2, all three notches 2 provided on the visible abutment surface are aligned in the same direction.

The worker grabs the notches on the block with his fingers, which enables him to grasp and lift the block better, as well as to bring about an even distribution of weight and also to increase the focus when picking up or moving the block depending on the practicality embarrassed.

It is clear that further embodiments are possible within the scope of the invention and that both the number and the arrangement, and the shape of the notches can vary.
