Abstract

The design consists of the features of shape and ornamentation of the cosmetic dispenser. The dispenser shown in Figures 1-6 comprises an elongated body having a greater height than width and includes a base portion, having an ovoid shape in plan, and an upper portion having a greater height than the base portion.The base portion has a side wall which flares outwardly toward the upper portion, and is provided at the front thereof with a notch having an arched shape.The upper portion has a side wall which abuts the side wall of the base portion. The side wall flares at the sides of the dispenser terminating in arched shoulders but is substantially straight at the front and the rear for a distance and then tapers toward a concave upper margin.The sides of the dispenser are provided with a series of widely spaced arcuate shaped ribs. A series of closely spaced ribs in which limb portions of the rib merge is positioned on the bottom of the base portion.A variant of the design is shown in Figures 7-12. This dispenser has a greater length to width ratio. In side view (Figure 10) the shoulders are more sharply arched.A further variant of the design is shown in Figures 13-18. This dispenser has an even greater length to width ratio than does the variant of Figures 7-12.
