Abstract

Afin d'obtenir un contrôleur intelligent de réseau d'accès radio (RIC) en temps quasi-réel (NRT) à faible latence, certains modes de réalisation séparent les fonctions RIC en plusieurs composants différents qui fonctionnent sur différentes machines (par exemple, s'exécutent sur des VM ou des PoD) fonctionnant sur le même ordinateur hôte ou différents ordinateurs hôtes. Certains modes de réalisation fournissent également des interfaces à grande vitesse entre ces machines. Certaines ou toutes ces interfaces fonctionnent de manière non bloquante et sans verrouillage afin de garantir que les opérations RIC NRT critiques (par exemple, les processus de chemin de données) ne sont pas retardées en raison de demandes multiples provoquant le blocage d'un ou plusieurs composants. De plus, chacun de ces composants RIC possède également une architecture interne qui est conçue pour fonctionner de manière non bloquante afin qu'aucun processus d'un composant ne puisse bloquer le fonctionnement d'un autre processus du composant.
