Abstract
The present invention is a Exfoliating Brush Lid with Multifunctional Cover.
The Exfoliating Brush Lid can be fastened and detached onto cosmetic beauty products with the threaded base, or by clipping onto the rim of the product opening. The Brush has a multifunction cover that can cover the brush for greater sanitation. Once the Exfoliating Brush Lid is detached from the product the brush cover can be removed and attached to the base, acting a handle for manual exfoliating. The Exfoliating brush can be dipped into product or the product can simply be placed on the brush. Once the product is on the brush it can be used for manual exfoliation. After use the brush can be rinsed with water, the brush cover can be detached from base and attached over the brush as a cover and the entire unit can be attached to product as a lid.

Description
Description EXFOLIATING BRUSH LID WITH MULTIFUNCTIONAL COVER
The invention provides a new way for skin care preparation. The exfoliating brush fastens and detaches from beauty cosmetic products, acting as a lid.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
Skincare cosmetic products have many benefits for making the skin feel and appear more healthy. They can have many functions like clearing away dead skin cells, and make way for smoother, radiant skin. Exfoliation keeps skin bright, clear, and encourages production of new skin cells in the epidermis. Physical exfoliation uses beads, grains, and brushes, to slough off the outermost layer of skin cells, while micro or chemical exfoliation uses acids and enzyme compounds to achieve the desired sloughing.
A brush exfoliator gently exfoliates and cleans off makeup and dirt from pores, leaving your face feeling smooth and refreshed. Brush exfoliating can work upwards of 500% more effective than using fingertips alone. Currently these methods of exfoliation are separate products. The current invention combines these methods for an easy to use, more sanitary, effective, and convenient method of skincare practice.

2 exfoliation. After use the brush can be rinsed with water, the brush cover can be detached from base and attached over the brush as a cover and the entire unit can be attached to the cosmetic product as a lid.
In the drawings, which form part of the specification:
Figure 1 is a outer view of the invention fully disassembled.
Figure 2 is a view of the Exfoliating Brush Lid detached and the brush cover assembled to the base of the lid, for use as a manual exfoliation brush.
Figure 3 is the Exfoliating Brush Lid with Multifunctional cover fully assembled and attached to a cosmetic product. The brush cover is attached and transparent, allowing us to see all components of the invention assembled.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
In the particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention illustrated, the Exfoliation Brush Lid with Multifunctional Cover in Figl demonstrates the invention fully disassembled to highlight the individual components. It comprises of a exfoliating brush 1, exterior lid shell 2, threaded/clip on base 3 for attachment to cosmetic products, brush cover 4, and brush cover vents 5. The lowest portion of the Brush Lid is a threaded/clip on base 3 that can be used to fasten and detach to cosmetic products, for example, facial scrubs, or to attach the brush cover 4 for a manual exfoliator handle. The middle lower part is a exterior shell of the base of the lid 2, allowing for the user to grip the lid and fasten and detach from the cosmetic product. Fig 2, the ridged exterior of the lid shell 2 allows the brush cover 4 to be attached to the base by connecting together the components and creating a manual exfoliating brush. The middle top portion of the lid is an exfoliating brush 1 that can be dipped into the product or more simply the product can be placed on the brush 1 without using fingers to scoop or scrub in product. 3 exfoliating brush unit can then be manually applied to the skin. The brush cover 4 can be used to cover the exfoliating brush 1 for better sanitation. The brush cover 4 can also be attached to the base of lid 3 to be used as a handle for the manual exfoliator. After the invention has been used to exfoliate the skin using the brush head 1 it can simply be rinsed with water and the brush cover 4 acting as a handle can be detached from the base of lid 3, and then reattached to cover the exterior of the exfoliating brush 1. Finally, the Exfoliating Brush with Multifunctional Cover can be fastened back on to the cosmetic product Fig 3. The attachment of the exfoliating brush lid to the cosmetic product allows the brush 1 to sit in its upright position, which is advantageous, because it allows the brush to dry in a more sanitary position. Furthermore, the brush doesn't need to sit on its face on unsanitary surfaces. The brush cover 4 adds further protection to the brush 1 and the brush cover vents 5 allow for air for circulation and quicker drying.
The invention is particularly advantageous for skin care users who are looking for a more sanitary and effective way of using an all in one skin care skin care exfoliating routine.
The exfoliating brush 1 can be made with different materials and textures to work congruently with the cosmetic products in order for more effective skin care results. For example, harder bristles for exfoliation and softer bristles for cleansing. In previous forms these methods would need to be purchased separately or the user would need to use fingertips to scoop and scrub in the product. This invention eliminates the use of fingertips for application and allows for a deeper more effective application.
As previously stated the exfoliating brush can work up to 500% better than fingertips alone.
Since the brush 1 can be secured as a lid in its upright position, it eliminates common issues associated with putting the brush face on unsanitary surfaces. The brush cover 4 adds extra protection against dirt and debris and the brush cover vents 5 allow for air flow circulation and faster drying. The brush cover 4 can be attached to base and used as a handle for better grip and easier use on the skin. The invention allows a simpler method as the brush can be fit perfectly into the cosmetic product opening using a dipping action or simply placed on the brush 1 for a hands off approach.
