Abstract

Il est décrit un système, une méthode, un appareil et un programme informatique pour la détermination dune éventuelle utilisation impropre de médicaments. Dans le contexte dune méthode, on reçoit des données liées à une transaction de réclamation de médicament sur ordonnance, puis on les analyse pour déterminer un patient et un médicament sur ordonnance à partir de la transaction de réclamation de médicament sur ordonnance. La méthode prévoit de déterminer si le médicament sur ordonnance est compris dans une sous-catégorie de médicaments sur ordonnance à surveiller pour utilisation impropre. Si le médicament sur ordonnance est compris dans la sous-catégorie, le méthode prévoit de déterminer si les ordonnances du patient associées au médicament sur ordonnance qui ont été prises en charge par une ou plusieurs pharmacies satisfont à des critères indicateurs dune éventuelle utilisation impropre de médicaments. Si cest le cas, la méthode prévoit de procéder à une notification, par exemple en transmettant une alerte à la pharmacie ayant soumis la transaction de réclamation de médicament sur ordonnance.
