Description

Device for Garbage Bags and Garbage Collection Device Description The invention relates to a holding device for garbage bags and to a garbage collection device comprising such a holding device.
In particular for household usage, the opening edge region of garbage bags is generally pulled over the edge region of a waste container or the like and the bags are held thereon by way of tension. However, it is necessary for this purpose to use garbage bags that are precisely matched to the particular waste container. If no fitting garbage bags are on hand, the described fastening becomes cumbersome or impossible.
This can result in unhygienic soiling conditions.
It is the object of the invention to provide a holding device for garbage bags and a garbage collection device equipped with such a holding device, which allows flexible and uncomplicated use of differently sized garbage bags, wherein in this connection these need not necessarily be special garbage bags, but the use of conventional plastic bags or the like should also be possible. Moreover, the holding device to be created should also be usable, in particular retrofittable, on existing garbage collection devices (waste containers).
The invention achieves this object by a holding device for garbage bags having the features of claim 1 and by a garbage collection device having the features of claim 16.
Preferred refinements of the respective idea according to the invention are defined in the related dependent claims.
A holding device according to the invention for garbage bags comprises the following components: at least one first holding part for fastening to a further apparatus, preferably a waste container; and at least one second holding part, the second holding part being disposed movably on the first holding part relative to the first holding part;
wherein the first holding part comprises at least one first holding structure for an opening edge region of a garbage bag or the like; the second holding part comprises at least one second holding structure for the opening edge region of the garbage bag; and
2 a distance between the first holding structure and the second holding structure can be adapted to an opening width of the garbage bag.
A garbage collection device according to the invention is characterized by at least one holding device according to the invention, together with a further apparatus, preferably a waste container, wherein the holding device is detachably fastened or can be detachably fastened in or on an edge region of the further apparatus.
Due to the fact that the aforementioned distance between the first holding structure and the second holding structure can be adapted to the opening width of the garbage bag on a holding device according to the invention, the holding device according to the invention can be used easily and flexibly with differently sized garbage bags (plastic bags), to the extent that the above-described disadvantages can be avoided.
In a first refinement of the holding device according to the invention, it is provided that the holding device comprises two second holding parts, which are disposed on the first holding part. This results in improved adaptability of the holding device to differently sized garbage bags. However, the invention is in no way limited to the presence of two second holding parts. Rather, the use of only one second holding part, or even the use of more than two second holding parts, is possible as well.
As part of another refinement of the holding device according to the invention, it is provided that the at least one second holding part is slidably disposed on the first holding part. This results in a particularly simple, stable design and adaptability.
A particularly advantageous refinement of the holding device is characterized in that spring means are provided for adapting the distance, which are mechanically operatively connected to the first and/or second holding parts. The aforementioned spring means can be designed in the form of a conventional compression spring (spiral spring). In this way, it can be achieved that the distance between the first holding structure and the second holding structure is (automatically) as large as possible due to the action of the spring means, so as to achieve automatic bracing of the garbage bag.
The distance can be reduced by compressing the spring means. The garbage bag is then introduced into the holding device, and subsequently the aforementioned distance
3 is automatically increased, by releasing the spring means, in such a way that the garbage bag, in the opening edge region thereof, is clamped at the holding structures.
Yet another refinement of the holding device according to the invention provides for the first holding structure and/or for the second holding structure to be designed as a marginal bend of the first holding part and of the second holding part and preferably extend transversely to the longitudinal direction of the holding part. These features also contribute to a preferably simple and easy-to-handle design of the holding device.
Another refinement of the holding device according to the invention provides for the first holding structure and/or for the second holding structure to comprise a further bend at the respective free end of the marginal bend, and for this further bend to preferably extend in parallel to the remaining first holding part or second holding part.
In this way, overall hook-shaped first and second holding structures are obtained, which are particularly well-suited to cooperate with the opening edge region of a garbage bag to securely hold the garbage bag.
Yet another refinement of the holding device according to the invention may provide for the first holding structure to be formed approximately centrally with respect to the first holding part. In addition or as an alternative, the first holding structure can have a two-piece (or, in general, a multi-piece) design, wherein preferably the (two) pieces are spaced apart from each other by a dimension in the longitudinal direction of the first holding part. This results in the particular advantage that a single holding device can be used in the region of the divided first holding structure for clamping more than only one garbage bag, namely in that each of the aforementioned (two) pieces of the first structure cooperates with a different garbage bag.
Yet another refinement of the holding device according to the invention provides for the first holding part to comprise a first leg and at least one second leg, the second leg extending at an angle with respect to the first leg, wherein the first holding structure is disposed on the first leg. In particular, the first holding part can have an approximately U-shaped design having two legs, preferably being designed to be flat with the exception of the first holding structure. Based on such a geometric design of the first holding part, this part can cooperate with the edge region of the aforementioned further
4 apparatus in a particularly advantageous manner, especially when this further apparatus has an approximately rectangular opening region.
A particularly advantageous refinement of the holding device according to the invention provides for the first holding part to be detachably connectable to the further apparatus, in particular by being clipped on, preferably by being retrofit, most preferably pivotably.
For this purpose, the first holding part can comprise corresponding fastening structures, which are preferably designed as clip structures or the like. The aforementioned further apparatus preferably also comprises corresponding complementary fastening structures in the edge region.
Moreover, it may also be provided on the holding device according to the invention that the second holding part comprises a first leg and a second leg, the second leg extending at an angle with respect to the second leg [sic; first leg], wherein preferably the second holding part approximately has an L or J shape and, with the exception of the second holding structure, is most preferably designed to be flat. The second holding structure can be disposed on the first leg and on the second leg, most preferably integrally or in one piece. In this way, the second holding structure is particularly well-suited to hold the opening edge region of a garbage bag securely without damaging the same.
As part of another refinement of the holding device according to the invention, it may be provided that the spring means are disposed between the two second holding parts when the holding device correspondingly comprises two second holding parts.
So as to mount the spring means in a holding device according to the invention, it may be provided as part of another refinement of the same that at least one receiving part for the spring means is provided beneath the first holding part and is connected via at least one aperture, preferably an elongated hole, in the first holding part to the at least one second holding part, the second holding part being disposed above the first holding part. A separate receiving part may be provided for each second holding part.
As the person skilled in the art will recognize, the above-used terms "beneath" and "above" are not absolute spatial descriptions, but merely relative position designations, which can, of course, also be reversed.

Another refinement of the holding device according to the invention is characterized in that at least the first holding part and/or the second holding part and/or the receiving part are made of a plastic material. This may be polyamide (PA), without limiting the invention.
So as to connect the receiving part and the holding part, suitable fastening means, in particular screw fastening means, may be provided in a refinement of the invention, preferably at least one self-tapping screw.
Finally, it may also be provided on the holding device according to the invention that the receiving part has an approximately spoon-shaped design, and in this connection comprises a fastening section for connecting the receiving part and the second holding part, and a receiving section for at least partially receiving the spring means.
One refinement of the garbage collection device according to the invention provides that, on this device, a garbage bag is suspended or suspendable on the further apparatus by way of the holding device, which was already pointed out above at least implicitly.
Further characteristics and advantages of the invention will be apparent from the following description of exemplary embodiments based on the drawings.
FIG. 1 shows an exploded view of a holding device according to the invention for garbage bags;
FIG. 2 shows the holding device of FIG. 1 in a view from above in a first usage state;
FIGS. 3 to 6 show the holding device according to FIG. 1 in a perspective view and in a number of different usage states;
FIGS. 7 to 9 show the usage of the holding device according to FIG. 1 in pairs in a top view;
FIGS. 10 to 12 illustrate the cooperation of a holding device according to the invention with a further apparatus, for example a waste bin comprising a garbage bag;
FIG. 13 illustrates the cooperation of a holding device according to the invention with a further apparatus (waste bin) and multiple garbage bags; and FIG. 14 shows a further working state of a holding device according to the invention.
FIG. 1 shows a basic shape of the holding device according to the invention for garbage bags based on an exploded view, the holding device being denoted in the overall by reference numeral 1. According to the shown embodiment, the holding device 1 comprises the following components: a first holding part 2, which is used to fasten to a further apparatus, which is not shown here, the further apparatus being a waste container or waste/garbage bin, for example; and two second holding parts 3.1, 3.2, the second holding parts 3.1, 3.2 being disposed movably on the first holding part 2 relative to the first holding part 2, which will be addressed in more detail hereafter.
The first holding part comprises a first holding structure 2a for an opening region of a garbage bag or the like, and each of the second holding parts 3.1, 3.2 comprises a second holding structure 3.1a, 3.2a for the opening edge region of the garbage bag, the garbage bag not being shown in FIG. 1. Due to the described relative mobility of the first holding part 2 and the second holding parts 3.1, 3.2, a distance between the first holding structure 2a and the second holding structures 3.1a, 3.2a can be adapted to an opening width of the garbage bag. The aforementioned distance is shown by way of example in FIG. 1 and denoted by reference sign A.
The holding device 1 moreover comprises spring means 4, which are designed in the form of a conventional compression spring (spiral spring). Two receiving parts
5.1, 5.2 are provided so as to receive the spring means 4, each of the receiving parts having a spoon-shaped design and comprising a fastening section 5.1a, 5.2a and a receiving section 5.1a, 5.1b for the spring means 4. In the region of the respective fastening section 5.1a, 5.2a, the receiving parts 5.1, 5.2 have apertures, of which only one is explicitly denoted by reference numeral 5.2c for the sake of clarity. The receiving parts 5.1, 5.2 may be connected via the apertures to the respective associated second holding part 3.1, 3.2 in the schematically indicated manner using a suitable connecting means 6, which in the present example is a self-tapping screw.
For this purpose, the first holding part 2 has apertures 2b in the form of elongated holes, which extend in parallel to the longitudinal direction of the first holding part 2. For the sake of clarity, again only one of the apertures or elongated holes 2b is explicitly identified. In principle, such an aperture (elongated hole) 2b of the first holding part 2 is associated with each fastening point (aperture 5.2c) of the receiving parts 5.1, 5.2. A
dimension of the apertures (elongated holes) 2b in the longitudinal direction of the first holding part 2 ensures the previously described mobility of the second holding parts 3.1, 3.2 relative to the first holding part 2. In this way, in particular the previously mentioned distance A can be varied or set by displacing the particular second holding part 3.2 (or 3.1) relative to the first holding part 2, and adapted to the opening width of a garbage bag.
The described spring means 4 ensure that the described distance A as well as a distance A' between the second holding parts 3.1, 3.2, and correspondingly between the second holding structures 2.1a, 2.2a , in the basic state of the holding device 1 is as large as possible or maximal. In this way, automatic clamping of garbage bags can be achieved, which will be addressed in more detail hereafter.
All above-mentioned components of the holding device 1, if necessary with the exception of the self-tapping screws 6 and the spring means 4, are preferably made of a plastic material, such as polyamide (PA), however without limiting the invention.
Fastening structures on the first holding part 2, which are used to fasten the holding device 1 to a further apparatus, preferably a waste container, cannot be seen in the representation according to FIG. 1. This will also addressed in more detail hereafter.
Finally, the position and design of the described holding structures 2a, 3.1a, 3.2a shall be described in more detail with reference to FIG. 1. The same applies also to the basic appearance of the first and second holding parts 2,3.1, 3.2.
The first holding part 2 is designed as a whole approximately in the manner of a flat U
shape and, in this connection, comprises a center leg 2c and two terminal free legs 2d.
The previously described apertures (elongated holes) 2b are provided in the region of the center leg 2c, as shown. The previously described first holding structure 2a is disposed centrally with respect to the center leg 2c and comprises two mutually spaced pieces 2aa, 2ab, which are spaced apart from each other by a dimension B in the longitudinal direction of the first holding part. The aforementioned pieces 2a, 2b of the first holding structure 2a are designed as marginal bends of the first holding part 2 and essentially project perpendicularly from the same. In addition, the respective free end of the two pieces 2a, 2ab of the first holding structure 2a has a further bend 2ac, which extends approximately in parallel to the remaining first holding part 2, as shown. In this way, the first holding structure 2a, seen from the side, forms a structure having a hook-like profile, into or on which the opening edge region of a garbage bag (not shown) can be hooked or suspended.
The second holding structures 3.1a, 3.2 on the second holding parts 3.1, 3.2 have a similar design as the first holding structure 2a or the pieces 2aa, 2ab thereof. The second holding structures 3.1a, 3.2a are also essentially composed of a marginal bend of the otherwise flat, approximately J-shaped second holding parts 3.1, 3.2.
The aforementioned marginal bends of the second holding structures 3.1a, 3.2a are denoted by reference numeral 3.1aa or 3.2aa in FIG. 1. Again, a further bend 3.1ab or 3.2ab, which extends approximately in parallel to the remaining second holding part 3.1 or 3.2, is present at the respective free end of the marginal bends 3.1a, 3.2a. As shown, the second holding structures 3.1a, 3.2a extend from the region of the one leg 3.1b of the described J-shaped design into the region of the other leg 3.1c of the aforementioned arrangement. The same applies with reference to the other second holding part 3.2;
however, this is not denoted in more detail for the sake of clarity.
Specifically, the second holding structure 3.1a begins approximately in the center of the one leg 3.1b and then integrally extends in one piece all the way to the distal (free) end of the other leg 3.1c.
According to the above description, the second holding structures 3.1a, 3.2a are also used to latch over and hold the opening edge region of a garbage bag, which takes place under the action of the spring means 4 by automatic bracing, which will be addressed in more detail hereafter.
The already implicitly described undersize M of the second holding structure 3.2a (and correspondingly also of the other second holding structure 3.1a) with respect to a total length of the particular leg 3.1b of the second holding part 3.1, 3.2 limits the displaceability of the second holding parts 3.1, 3.2 with respect to the first holding part 2, in addition to the previously described distance A' between the second holding parts 3.1, 3.2. In principle, a displacement of the second holding parts 3.1, 3.2 with respect to the first holding part 2 is only possible until either the two second holding parts 3.1, 3.2 abut (A' = 0), or until the second holding structure 3.1a, 3.2a of the particular second holding part 3.1, 3.2 strikes against the facing piece 2aa, 2ab of the first holding structure 2a.
In principle, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described above by way of example, comprising two second holding parts 3.1, 3.2 that can be moved relative to the first holding part 2. In particular an embodiment comprising only one second holding part 3.1, 3.2 that can be moved relative to the first holding part 2 is possible. In this context, in particular the above-described holding structure 2a could be dispensed with;
instead, the holding structure disposed on the second holding part, which according to the comments above could be dispensed with, could be provided on the first holding part, wherein the latter would then accordingly also be used to fasten the one receiving part for the spring means 4.
Such modifications are obvious to a person skilled in the art, so they need not be addressed in more detail here.
FIG. 2 shows the holding device 1 according to FIG. 1 in a top view. A double arrow P
illustrates the relative mobility of the first holding part 2 and the second holding parts 3.1, 3.2, wherein the one holding part 3.2 is shown in two different functional positions (retracted and extended). In the retracted position, the particular second holding structure 3.2a of the part meets with the piece 2aa of the first holding structure 2a of the first holding part 2 approximately at reference sign S. For the extended position, a limitation results from the dimensions of the apertures (elongated holes) 2b;
however, these are not apparent in FIG. 2. Corresponding mobilities result for the other second holding part 3.1, wherein the potential abutting of the two second holding parts 3.1, 3.2 must be considered as an additional limitation (A' = 0).
Based on a perspective illustration of the entire holding device 1, FIGS. 3 to
6 show different working or usage states of the same, which will be addressed only briefly here.
In FIG. 3, the two second holding parts 3.1, 3.2 are maximally extended. In the outer region, they just barely cover the first holding part 2 in this instance. This state develops on its own due to the spring means 4 (see FIG. 1), without any external force, such as by the clamping of a garbage bag. The mobility, as previously described, is delimited here by the dimensions of the apertures or elongated holes 2b (see FIG. 1).

According to FIG. 4, the first [sic; one second] holding part 3.1 remains fully extended, while the other second holding part 3.2 is maximally retracted (A = 0). In this state, the spring means 4 (see FIG. 1) generally strive to push the second holding parts 3.1, 3.2 apart, provided that this is not prevented by any external force, such as by the clamping of a garbage bag that is accordingly smaller compared to FIG. 3.
According to FIG. 5, the holding part 3.2 is maximally extended, and the holding part 3.1 is maximally retracted. Otherwise, the state corresponds to that of FIG. 4.
FIG. 6 shows a state in which the two holding parts 3.1, 3.2 are maximally retracted.
They abut in the center in this case, approximately at reference sign S' (A' =
0). Due to the selected relative dimensions, A = 0 applies to both holding parts 3.1, 3.2. Here as well, the spring means 4 (see FIG. 1) generally strive to push the two holding parts 3.1, 3.2 apart. In this way, even smaller garbage bags can be clamped.
As a person skilled in the art will also derive from FIGS. 1 to 6, the holding device 1 shown can also be used to clamp two garbage bags due to the two-piece design of the first holding structure 2aa (see FIG. 1). With reference to FIG. 1, piece 2ab of the first holding structure 2a, together with the second holding structure 3.2a, is then used to clamp a first garbage bag, while the second piece 2ab of the first holding structure 2a, together with the holding structure 2b, can be used to clamp another garbage bag. The two clamped garbage bags can certainly also have differing dimensions in the opening edge region, as is illustrated by FIGS. 4 and 5, for example.
FIGS. 7 to 9 once again illustrate a corresponding situation in a top view, wherein here two holding devices 1 according to the invention are used in pairs in each case. FIG. 7 corresponds to the state according to FIG. 3, FIG. 9 corresponds to the state according to FIG. 6, and FIG. 8 corresponds to the state according to FIG. 5.
The dotted lines in FIGS. 7 to 9 illustrate edge contours of the previously described further apparatus, which can preferably be a waste container (garbage bin).
This will now be addressed in more detail based on FIGS. 10 to 14.

First, a further feature of the holding device 1 shall be addressed with reference to FIG.
2. This refers to the fastening structures, which at reference numeral 2e can be seen as only hinted at, by way of which the holding device 1 can be fastened to the further apparatus previously described on several occasions in the region of the first holding part 2. This is easily apparent in the aforementioned FIGS. 10 to 14. Again, the described fastening structures are denoted by reference numeral 2e. They cooperate with complementary fastening structures, which are not shown in more detail, at the upper edge of the further apparatus, which in the present example is denoted by reference numeral 7 and is shown in each case only schematically with dotted lines.
Preferably, however without limiting the invention, the fastening structures 2e are designed as clip structures, so as to detachably-pivotably fasten the holding devices 1 in a simple manner to the further apparatus 7, in particular also for retrofitting.
FIG. 10 in this context again shows the state analogous to FIG. 7, having two maximally extended second holding parts 3.1, 3.2.
FIG. 11 shows a state in which again only the second holding part 3.1 is maximally extended. This corresponds to the representation of FIG. 4.
According to FIG. 12, the two second holding parts 3.1, 3.2 are maximally retracted. For illustration purposes, a garbage bag 8 is also shown schematically here, which is clamped in the opening edge region 8a thereof on the holding devices 1 in accordance with the above description.
FIG. 13 again illustrates the state according to FIG. 3 or FIG. 10, having two maximally extended second holding parts 3.1, 3.2, wherein here the two-piece design of the first holding structure 2a is used to clamp two garbage bags 8.1, 8.2 in the respective opening edge region 8.1a, 8.2a of the same.
Finally, FIG. 14 shows the pivotability of the holding devices 1 based on the described design of the fastening structures 2e. The latter can be seen particularly well in the upper left portion of FIG. 14 and essentially comprise two parallel protrusions (not denoted in detail) in each case, which are designed so as to be spring-loaded relative to each other, so that the particular holding device 1 can be clipped onto a corresponding complementary fastening structure of the further apparatus 7. Otherwise, the individual components of the holding device 1 can be seen well again in FIG. 14, which were already described in detail above based on FIG. 1.
In particular, the usage in FIG. 14 corresponds to a usage state during the removal of garbage bags (not shown in FIG. 14) from the further apparatus 7. The particular garbage bags are seated within the further apparatus 7, where they can be tied with knots or closed in another manner, so as to then remove them from the further apparatus 7 and appropriately disposed of them. Subsequently, the holding devices 1 are pivoted inward again, and one or more garbage bags are clamped in the described manner and can be filled.
