Abstract
Le dispositif est une pointe de pieu à déplacement complet (PPDC) munie dun foret sacrificiel relié à un tuyau en acier, la pointe présentant au moins quatre brides ou queues de poisson au bord de coupe sétendant depuis une partie inférieure conique en forme de dôme et reliées dun seul tenant aux dents de coupe le long de la tige axiale de la pointe. La PPDC sert à visser un pilier en acier dans le sol afin de servir de fondation pour une structure. Il sagit dune seule opération selon laquelle la PPDC et le tuyau demeurent dans le sol. La PPDC nest pas retirée et la quantité de béton à couler et laltération du sol sont minimes. Un appareil de forage plus petit peut être employé pour réduire les coûts dexploitation.
