Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de codage et de décodage vidéo utilisation une prédiction pondérée ainsi qu'un appareil afférent. Le procédé de codage vidéo consiste à générer une image prédite pour un bloc présent, à générer un facteur de prédiction pondéré lequel est un facteur d'échelle de l'image prédite réduisant au minimum la différence entre le bloc présent et l'image prédite, à générer une image de prédiction pondérée par multiplication de l'image prédite par le facteur de prédiction pondéré et à coder un signal résiduel généré par soustraction de l'image de prédiction pondérée du bloc présent.
