La présente invention «Door Bench / Wall Bench» concerne un banc composé de deux panneaux dont l'un forme le siège et l'autre le pied que fon fixe sur une porte ou sur un mur, et qui se rabat sur cette porte ou ce mur à (aide d'un mécanisme. Il est maintenu replié par différentes attaches telles que velcro, aimants ou crochets. Son mécanisme est composé de charnières, d'une plaque de délimitation et d'une plaque de montage.
Différents matériaux peuvent être employés pour la fabrication du banc soit le métal, le bois, la mélamine, le plastique, le thermoplastique, le thermodurcissable, le fibre de verre ou autres. Ces matériaux peuvent être non peints, peinturés, teintés, burinés, gravés, pyrogravés, décorés ou autres.
La dimension et la forme des bancs peuvent varier.
Le «Door Bench / Wall Bench» est très pratique surtout dans des endroits restreints, tel qu'un vestibule. En effet, il est très discret une fois repliée et il n'encombre pas la circulation ne nécessitant aucun espace de rangement. De plus, il est à la portée de la main en vue d'une utilisation immédiate.

Dans la base de données de Strategis, j'y ai trouvé 326 bancs et 3206 sièges tandis que dans celle de l'USPTO, il y avait 177 bancs et 2846 sièges. Parmi ces bancs, il y en avait qui étaient pliants et repliables mais rien de comparables au «Door Bench / Wall Bench». Quant aux sièges, il y en avait qui étaient escamotables, murals, pliants et repliables.
Parmis les sièges, les deux sièges suivants comportent une fonction semblable au «Door Bench /
Wall Bench» soit de se replier sur un mur pour une économie d'espace, bien qu'ils ne soient pas considérés comme étant des bancs par leurs inventeurs:
- Brevet # CA 260293, délivré le 27 avril 1926. WALL SEAT. L'inventeur serait un nommé
Wasmuth, Augustus F. (pays non disponible). Titulaire The Wasmuth-Endicott company. Le siège se repli au mur avec un mécanisme de levier qui se situe de chaque côté
du siège. De plus, il n'a pas d'appui au au sol. Il semblerait, selon l'information fournie par l'O~ce de la propriété
intellectuelle du Canada, que les revendications de ce siège restent introuvables.
- Brevet # CA2220372. Siège escamotable monté au mur, déposé le 6 nov. 1997, mise à la disposition publique le 6 mai 1999 et requête de l'examen le 25 juin 2002.
L'inventeur est un nommé Wurmlinger, Ernest H. (Canada). L'agent est Ade & company. Le siège se repli au mur à l'aide d'un mécanisme de levier et barre de tension en plus d'un ressort.
Son siège n'a pas d'appui au au sol. Somme toute, il s'agit d'un planche qui est retenue au mur par un ressort et qui se rabaisse sur le mur en pliant un mécanisme de levier sous cette planche. -2-DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART
I have done several searches in different databases of patents such as Strategis (http: //strate~is.ic.gc.ca) and the United States Patent and Trademark O ~ ce (USPTO) (http: //patents.uspto.~ov/index.html), to compare my invention "Door Bench / Wall Bench "to others and review the technical documentation.
In the Strategis database, I found 326 benches and 3206 seats while in that of the USPTO, there were 177 benches and 2846 seats. Among these benches, there were which were folding and foldable but nothing comparable to the "Door Bench / Wall Bench". As to seats, there were which were retractable, murals, folding and folding.
Among the seats, the following two seats have a similar function at the Door Bench /

Afm d'assurer la stabilité et la solidité du banc, le banc est muni d'une plaque de délimitation située horizontalement sous le panneau-siège qui fait en sorte que le panneau-siège devient perpendiculaire au sol lorsque le banc est déplié. Ainsi le panneau-siège est bien supporté d'un côté
par une charnière qui est fixée à un mur ou à une porte et de l'autre côté par le panneau-pied.
L'une des extrémités de la plaque de délimitation est reliée au panneau-pied à
l'aide d'une charnière tandis que l'autre extrémité est reliée, également à l'aide d'une charnière, à
une petite plaque de montage appuyée contre un mur ou une porte.
La plaque de délimitation, située sous le banc, est légèrement pliée afin de permettre au banc de se replier complètement sur lui-même. Ce pli divise la plaque de délimitation en deux sections inégales, la plus grande section s'insère entre les panneaux du banc replié
alors que la petite section vient rejoindre la plaque de montage.
La plaque de montage relie la plaque de délimitation à la charnière arrière du banc. Cette plaque se fixe également à une porte ou à un mur et a pour fonction de s'assurer que la plaque de délimitation soit à la bonne distance du panneau-siège. -4-SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The delimitation plate, located under the bench, is slightly folded in order to allow the bench to fold completely on itself. This fold divides the bounding plate into two sections unequal, the largest section fits between the panels of the folded bench while the small section comes to join the mounting plate.
The mounting plate connects the boundary plate to the rear hinge of the bench. This plate is also fixed to a door or a wall and has the function of ensuring that the delimitation plate at the right distance from the seat panel.

En référence, à la figure # 3 on peut constater qu'à l'état replié le banc «Door Bench / Wall Bench» est appuyé contre un mur et occupe peu d'espace. On peut apercevoir le panneau-siège au point 1 et le panneau-pied au point 2.
En référence, aux figure # 4 & # 6 on peut constater qu'à l'état déplié le banc «Door Bench / Wall Bench» devient fonctionnel et qu'il est possible de s'asseoir dessus. Ä la figure # 6 on peut apercevoir le panneau-siège au point (1) , le panneau-pied au point (2), la plaque de montage au point (5), la plaque de délimitation au point (7) et le pli de la plaque de délimitation au point (9). La figure # 6 illustre la fonction de la plaque de délimitation (7) qui consiste à maintenir le panneau-pied (1) dans une position perpendiculaire par rapport au sol, et ce, fixé au sol dans un angle de 90 degrés, s'il n'y avait pas cette plaque de délimitation (7) le panneau-pied (2) perdrait sa stabilité et serait un danger lorsqu'une personne s'assoirait puisque le panneau-siège (1) pourrait s'écrouler.
Tant qu'à la plaque de montage (5), celle-ci sert à positionner la dite plaque de délimitation (7). S'il n'y avait pas cette plaque de montage (5) il serait presqu'impossible de déterminer avec précision l'espace qu'il doit y avoir entre la plaque de délimitation (7) et le dessous du panneau-siège (1). Un problème surviendrait en repliant le banc, car il ne pourrait pas se replier parfaitement et esthétiquement sur lui-même.

En référence, à la figure # 5 on peut constater qu'au panneau-siège (1) du banc «Door Bench /
Wall Bench» est fixée une charnière (4), que la plaque de montage (5) est fixée à cette charnière et relié à la plaque de délimitation (7) par une autre charnière (6). La grande section de la plaque de délimitation (7) se trouve insérée entre le panneau-siège (1) et le panneau-pied (2) lorsque le banc est replié. On voit également le pli (9) de la plaque de délimitation (7). La plaque de montage (5) se fixant à plat sur une porte ou un mur et l'épaisseur du panneau-siège (1) obligent la plaque de délimitation (7) de se plier afin qu'elle peut se connecter à la plaque de montage (5).
En référence, à la figure # 7 on peut constater que le panneau-siège (1) du banc «Door Bench /
Wall Bench» est relié au panneau-pied (2) par une charnière (3), qu'à l'amère du panneau-siège (1) est fixé une charnière (4) et que fixée à cette charnière est la plaque de montage (5) dont l'autre bout est relié à Ia plaque de délimitation (7) par une autre charnière (6). On peut y constater également qu'il y a un pli (9) dans la plaque de délimitation (7). Ä l'une des extrémité

Referring to Figure # 3 we can see that in the folded state the bench «Door Bench / Wall Bench "is leaning against a wall and occupies little space. We can see the seat panel at point 1 and the footboard in point 2.
Referring to Figures # 4 &# 6 it can be seen that in the unfolded state the "Door Bench / Wall" bench Bench "becomes functional and it is possible to sit on it. To the figure # 6 we can see the seat panel in point (1), the footboard in point (2), the mounting plate at point (5), the bounding plate at point (7) and the fold of the delimitation in point (9).
