Abstract
The invention relates to novel, improved double metal cyanide (DMC) catalysts for the preparation of polyetherpolyols by the polyaddition of alkylene oxides onto starter compounds containing active hydrogen atoms, the catalyst containing a double metal cyanide compound, an organic complexing ligand and 2 - 80 wt.% of a polycarbonate, based on the amount of catalyst.
The novel, improved catalysts have markedly shortened induction times and simultaneously a greatly increased activity in the preparation of polyetherpolyols.
