Abstract

L'invention porte sur le polypeptide ligand d'origine murine pour les protéines réceptrices couplées à la protéine G. Le polypeptide ligand ou l'ADN qui code ce polypeptide ligand peuvent être utilisés pour (1) la mise au point de médicaments tels que modulateurs de la fonction hypophysaire, modulateurs de la fonction du système nerveux central et modulateurs de la fonction pancréatique, (2) l'élaboration de méthodes pour tester la liaison des récepteurs utilisant l'expression de protéines réceptrices de recombinaison et la sélection de composés pharmaceutiques d'intérêt potentiel et (3) la production d'animaux non humains transgéniques ou d'animaux non humains porteurs de gènes inactivés permettant l'analyse d'une fonction génique.
