Abstract
Cette invention concerne un procédé qui permet de gérer la fabrication d'huiles lubrifiantes, lequel comprend des étapes de distillation, d'extraction, de déparaffinage et éventuellement d'hydrofinissage, ou encore de gérer des unités opérationnelles associées au raffinage ou à des traitements chimiques de matières premières et de produits entrant en ébullition au-dessus de 350 DEG C. Ce procédé consiste à choisir une ou plusieurs propriétés chimiques, perceptuelles, physiques ou de performance d'une huile lubrifiante ou encore de matières premières, d'un distillat ou d'un raffinat qui sont utilisés durant le processus de fabrication, ou des matières premières ou produits du raffinage ou d'un traitement chimique. Un ensemble d'entraînement est ensuite créé à partir d'échantillons de référence qui contiennent des espèces moléculaires caractéristiques présentes dans l'huile lubrifiante, les matières premières, le distillat ou le raffinat utilisés durant le processus de fabrication ou issus d'opérations de raffinage ou de traitement chimique. Les échantillons de référence sont soumis à une analyse par chromatographie gazeuse/spectrométrie de masse (CG/SM), et les données souvent colinéaires ainsi obtenues sont traitées par des procédés de corrélation à variables multiples. L'ensemble d'entraînement fournit des coefficients qui sont multipliés par la matrice issue d'une analyse CG/SM d'un échantillon inconnu, afin de produire une valeur prévue de la propriété ou du groupe de propriétés chimiques, de performance, perceptuelles ou physiques choisies.
