Abstract

This invention concerns a continuous casting and rolling system for steel strip and a corresponding control system, where the individual parts of the system have an optimized design with respect to their interaction in order to produce a steel strip suitable for further processing and they are operated in a coordinated fashion. The coordination is preferably optimized using a neuro-fuzzy system.
