Abstract

Des compositions bitume/polymère à intervalle de plasticité élargi sont produites en mettant en contact, entre 100 .degree.C et 230 .degree.C et sous agitation, un bitume ou mélange de bitumes avec un élastomère réticulable au soufre et un agent de couplage donneur de soufre pour produire une composition bitume/polymère réticulée, puis en incorporant à ladite composition, maintenue entre 100 .degree.C et 230 .degree.C et sous agitation, un adjuvant minéral du type acide ou anhydride d'acide et en maintenant le milieu réactionnel obtenu entre 100 .degree.C et 230 .degree.C et sous agitation pendant au moins 20 minutes. Ces compositions bitume/polymère sont utilisables, directement ou après dilution, pour former des liants bitumineux pour la réalisation de revêtements superficiels routiers, d'enrobés et de revêtements d'étanchéité.
