Abstract
In this invention Easy-Spout, one piece flexible plastic applicator, composed form sealing ring and spout itself, would be inserted into any of the following standard size metal paint type cans and would make the pouring of all goods spill free and easy.
Description
-EASY - SPOUT
SPECIFICATION
The present invention relates to the problem of pouring contents from metal, paint type, cans, all sizes a with one piece plastic spout-ring applicator, flexible enough to be inserted into the can, provide good seal with it and make pouring of goods easy and without spilling.
It is common, at present, to have no aid in the pouring of goods from a can. However the technique used today for pouring of all goods or contents result in a great amount of spills, and waste of goods as well as, the inability to seal the ~ g goods of the can, due to the fact that the layer of goods that has hardened on the can rim pleve~ the can lid from creating a proper seal over the can opening. Thereby can contents are spoiled or rern:~inll~ of goods hardens making it useless.
The above specified problem can be resolved, by using a one piece flexible plastic spout applicator, which would be inserted into the can and would create a perfect seal on can walls and by means of a spout would make pouring of goods perfect and spill free. Also after the applicators use it could then be removed easily out of the can, leaving the cans rim clean and ready to seal once more with the cans lid. Testing results have shown that: 1. Easy insert of applicator. 2. No spillage while applicator is inserted. 3. Easy removal of applicator. 4. Clean rim of can after applicator usage. 5. Easy seal of can with original can lid. 6. Outside surface of can body including, content label stay clean and readable and can is ready for storage.
EASY SPOUT is made of a one piece of flexible plastic composed of a one piece ring and spout. The upper ring surface (pos. #4 at Fig#1, #2 #6), is designed to represent the out print of a can rim. Out side vertical surface of ring (pos.#5, at Fig. # 1, #2, #4, #5, #6) is designed to be smooth, in order to create a seal up against the inside of the can.
One side of the flexible plastic ring is completely open, in order to provide complete flexibility of the ring, this is necessary to allow the ring's diameter to be decreased in size in order to insert the EASY SPOUT ring applicator into the can s lccescfillly. As shown on Fig. #6. Finger pressure compressing on the ring is represent with two arrows, on the same drawing.
Projection tabs (pos.#7, Fig.# I, #7), on the each end of the elastic ring, as shown on the Fig.# 1, make h~n(lling of the spout easier while inserting and taking it out of the can.
Once the ring is inserted into the can and released (Fig. #5), it presses with *s out side vertical surface on the wall of the can, and after being pulled up into the slot of the can's rim, it provides a perfect seal.
The spout which is an lm(letect:~hle part of the ring and creates with the ring together a complete applicator is designed with its width, height and length to provide the applicators sncce~fill fiunction (pouring goods firom all sizes metal, paint type cans).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
EASY - SPOUT is made of one piece plastic applicator composed from sealing plastic ring (pos. # I on all drawings) and spout itself (pos. #2 on all drawings), to be inserted in to the metal, paint type, can (pos. #3, Fig. #4, #5, #6~. Top view of the EASY- SPOUT itself is shown on the Fig # I . Section A-A, cross section of the ring across its diameter is shown on the Fig. #2.
Section B-B which is cross section of the spout itself is shown on the Fig.#3. Top view of the EASY - SPOUT inserted in to the can is shown on the Fig. #5. Side view of the EASY - SPOUT
inserted in the can is shown on the Fig. #4. Top portion of the ring (pos.#4) is designed as out print ofthe can rim Fig. #1, #2, #6). Outside vertical surface (pos.#5) is designed to be smooth (Fig.#l, #~, #4, #5, #6) to create good seal with metal can (pos.#3).
To be inserted or taken out form the can (pos.#3), EASY - SPOUT should be compressed as shown with arrows (Fig.#6) or on the projection tabs (pos.#7 Fig.#7), to get its diameter reduced.
