DESCRIPTION DE L'ART ANTÉRIEUR

une base;
des moyens pour maintenir le tube-pompe à la base;
un levier monté de façon pivotante à la base; le levier incluant une première surface de contact et une seconde surface de contact; le levier est monté à la base de façon à ce que la seconde surface de contact soit en contact avec le bouton du tube-pompe lorsque le tube-pompe est monté à la base par les moyens de maintien du tube-pompe;
La Figure 1 représente une vue en section de profil illustrant un support de tube dentifrice selon une première incorporation préférentielle de la présente invention; le mécanisme permettant 10 d'actionner la pompe étant illustré dans sa position de repos;

DESCRIPTION DÉTAILLÉE DE L'INVENTION
"_ SUPPORT FOR TUBE-PUMP TOOTHPASTE TUBE
The present invention relates to a support for tube tube-pump type toothpaste facilitating the application of toothpaste on a toothbrush.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART
The tube-type toothpaste tubes are good 15 known. They are formed of a rigid tube having an upper end to which a pump is installed. The pump has a button allowing manual activation of a distribution mechanism the pump to eject a certain amount of toothpaste by a tip provided for this purpose.
Although the tube pumps are much easier to use than conventional toothpaste tubes, the fact remains that user needs both hands to apply paste toothpaste on his toothbrush. This reality is a major problem for 25 people with disabilities and young children who, through their lack of manual dexterity, waste a lot of toothpaste.

Figure 3 shows a profile section view illustrating a toothpaste tube support according to a second incorporation preferred of the present invention; the mechanism allowing 20 to operate the pump being illustrated in its rest position; and Figure 4 shows an elevation of a housing used for covering the toothpaste tube support of the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Two preferred embodiments of this invention will now be described for information only.
Referring now to Figures 1 and 2 attached, a support 10 for toothpaste tube type pump-pump 12 will be described. The support 10 includes a base 14, a lever 16 mounted on a pivot 18 and a stop 20.
The base 14 includes, in its upper part, a circular opening 22 provided with internal thread. The dimensions of this opening 22 are such that a conventional pump tube 12 can be inserted there. Indeed, the pump tube 12 has a cross section generally 10 circular and provided in its upper part with a threaded portion suitable to receive the cover (not shown) of the pump tube.
A side opening 24 provides access to the mouthpiece distribution 26 of the tube 12. It should be noted that the distribution nozzle 26 is closed by a cover 28 secured to a push button 30 actuating the dispensing mechanism of the tube pump 12.
The lever 16, illustrated in its rest position in the Figure 1, is placed in the opening 24 so as to be able to pivot around 20 of its pivot 18. The lever 16 is provided with a first surface of contact 32, accessible through opening 24, and a second surface of contact 34 having a rounded shape and placed so as to contact the surface of the button 30 when the pump tube 12 is properly screwed in the threaded opening 22.
The stop 20 is placed so as to stop the pivoting of the lever 16. Of course, the stop 20 is removably mounted at the base 14. Indeed, the base 14 is provided with a second opening 21 into which the stopper 20 can be inserted to increase the amount of 30 toothpaste ejected from the pump tube 12 as described below.
~. ~
_ The operation of the support for pump tube 10 will be now described.
As shown in Figure 1, a toothbrush 40 can 5 be inserted into opening 26 and pressed against the first surface of contact 32 of lever 16. When the toothbrush 40 is in this position, the head 42 of the toothbrush 40 is placed under the nozzle 26 of the pump tube 12.
Pressure applied to the toothbrush 40 in the direction of arrow 44, (see Figure 2) causes the lever to pivot 16. Figure 2 illustrates the lever 16 in its pivoted position. The second contact surface 34 of lever 16 presses button 30 during pivoting of the lever 16. By its position and its rounded shape, the second contact surface 34 actuates button 30 to thereby eject dough toothpaste on the head 42 of the toothbrush 40.
The position of the stopper 20 determines the amount of dough toothpaste which will be deposited on the head 42 of the toothbrush 40. In effect, when the lever 16 comes into contact with the stop 20, the pivoting lever 16 is stopped.
It should be noted that when the toothbrush 40 is removed of the opening 24, the lever 16 is automatically replaced in its rest position (see Figure 1) by the pressure exerted by the pump (not shown) of the pump tube 12 which tends to bring the button 30 back into the position illustrated in Figure 1.
Referring now to Figure 3, a second support 100 for toothpaste tube type pump 102 will be described. The support 100 includes a base 104, two mounting collars 106,108 and a lever 110 mounted at the base 104 by a pivot 112.
Pump tube 102 does not have a threaded portion and is therefore mounted on the base 104 by two fixing collars 106 and 108.
Of course, the pump tube 12 of Figures 1 and 2 could also be mounted to the base 104 by the fixing collars 106 and 108.
The lever 110 includes a contact surface 114 capable of come into contact with the head 42 of the toothbrush 40, and a roller 116 rotatably mounted to the lever 110. The caster 116 is positioned so as to come into contact with the button 30 of the tube 102.
The lever 110 is also provided with a return spring 120 facilitating the return of the lever 110 to its rest position illustrated in FIG. 3.
A stop 122, which can be adjusted, is mounted in a threaded opening 124 of the base 104. Since the stop 122 is also threaded, the rotation of this in the opening 124 will cause a lateral movement of the stop 122. It is therefore possible to adjust the amount of toothpaste ejected from tube 102.
The operation of the support 100 is very similar to the operation of the support 10 described above and will therefore not be repeated here for the sake of brevity.
Finally referring to Figure 4 attached, a housing 200 can receive one of the supports for toothpaste tube type tube-pump 10 and 100 will be briefly described.
.,. ~
The housing 200 includes a support plate 202 can be mounted on a vertical wall, for example a wall, by fixing openings 204 and 206, and a cover 208 defining a space in which one of the supports 10 or 100 can be installed. Good 5 Of course, the cover includes an opening 210 in which the brush teeth (not shown) can be inserted.
The cover 208 is also provided with an opening rectangular 212 allowing the user to view the quantity of 10 toothpaste present in the pump tube.
A door 214 is placed in the upper part of the housing 200 to allow the pump tube to be changed when it is is empty.
It goes without saying that the present invention was described by way of purely indicative and that it can accommodate several other adjustments and variants without exceeding the scope of the present invention as defined by the claims which follow.
