Abstract

The invention relates to an anti-splintering device for sawing machines having a saw blade which can be rested on workpieces and can be arranged laterally from the saw blade and is in pressure contact with the latter in the region of the teeth of the saw blade emerging from the workpiece. The sawing machine has a positioning device which can be connected thereto and supports the anti-splintering device, fox the correct operational arrangement of the anti-splintering device in the event of a change in the cutting depth and/or in the angle of inclination of the saw blade.
