Abstract

ABRÉGÉ DESCRIPTIF Dispositif pour la transmission d'informations synchrones par un réseau asynchrone, notamment un réseau ATM Dans un tel dispositif, les informations sont véhiculées par paquets de bits de données entre un organe émetteur et un organe récepteur, chacun de ces paquets étant formé d'une cellule d'information comprenant d'une part un en-tête porteur d'une adresse et d'autre part un champ utile porteur de l'information à transmettre, l'organe émetteur et l'organe récepteur fonctionnant entre eux en mode synchrone sur la base d'horloges locales respectives plésiochrones. Selon l'invention, le dispositif comporte: -des moyens (15) pour détecter et compenser des éva nouissement longs de transmission du flux de cellules d'information reçu par l'organe récepteur, -des moyens (16) pour détecter et compenser la perte ou l'insertion de cellules dans le flux de cellules d'information reçu par l'organe récepteur, et -des moyens (17) pour réduire la gigue introduite par la transmission asynchrone des informations dans le réseau et pour compenser le plésiochronisme relatif des horloges locales de l'organe émetteur et de l'organe récepteur.
