Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of the vacuum cleaner as shown in the drawings; the most novel and distinctive features of the vacuum cleaner are a downwards and forwards angled central generally cylindrical canister section which merges into an axially aligned short frustoconical bottom section; the canister section has an elbow-like element which extends outwards and downwards part way along the length of the canister and is situated close to the upper surface portion of the canister; the upper surface portion has a circumferentially-spaced array of generally frustoconical contiguous sections each having a curved rib-like portion extending upwards and inwards from the top surface of each frustoconical contiguous section and merging into a housing section having an oblong cross-section; the upper end of the vacuum cleaner has a handle-like element situated above the housing section; the handle-like element has a downwards curved upper handle portion having a concave top surface; large wheel-like elements are situated on either side of the main housing of the vacuum cleaner; to the rear of the handle-like element is a generally U-shaped element having a smooth curved inner surface.Diagrams of the design are included.Fig. 1 is a right front perspective view of the design of the vacuum cleaner;Fig. 2 is a top plan view thereof;Fig. 3 is a bottom view thereof;Fig. 4 is a left side elevation view thereof;Fig. 5 is a right side elevation view thereof;Fig. 6 is a front elevation view thereof; andFig. 7 is a rear elevation view thereof.
