Description
Dans une autre variante de réalisation (brevets français The inventi.on relates to a combustion apparatus in addition to a primary combustion chamber, arrangements to ignite imbru: Les of: Combustion primary.
5It applies to appliances, such as stoves, domestic fireplaces, fireplaces, i.incinerators, fireplaces, } -) roasting solid-to-combustible bodies, such as char-good, wood and at least some household waste.
A simple cornbus-tion of these bodies releases a ~ uMée conventionally composed of water vapor but also gas and more or less fine particles, and this, although, general.
ment, these gases and / or particles are in themselves combi-ti-wheat.
This smoke is also all the more opaque in that generally the combustion will have been incomplete.
~ n effect, ~ neme if air is introduced: lt in sufficient quantity-fisante, it does not always constitute ~ ~ gas combustible particles a fairly intimate mixture and temperature suitable for full combustion of these.
Greater primary air injection (US patent 3808986) will not solve this problem and especially would enter into the smoke additional particles.
When these burnt i.m are, by the smoke pipe, discharged directly into the atmosphere, in addition to the pollution which may result, it is clear that is irretrievably lost a significant part of the calorific potential of the fuel.
Furthermore, even when the combustion has been complete, the fumes are generally evacuated at temperatures still very high and, as a result, the heat developed by : the combustion is even partially lost.
These multiple losses require you to use bodies self-combustible in quantity and / or with calorific potential much higher than actual needs.
3 ~ In the field of at least partial recovery of the heat of the fumes ~ it is known (French patents 1421897, . and 1460191 and German patent C-137510) to extend the exchange thermal in braking the flow of these fumes using . `2 baffles and even (US patent 1828644) to pass the gases burned in a succession of ch ~ nbres which, in addition to chi-canage causes an expansion of the gases which favors large heat exchange.
If they allow the temperature of the fumes to be lowered before their evacuation in the atmosphere, these dispositi ~ s do obviously do not, on their own, achieve full combustion.
To complete the combustion, it is already known to coat laughing at facilities capable of bringing unburnt goods from the primary fuel to the primary hearth to cause it the inflammation.
In a first: real variant: isati.on (breve-t fran-know 1224535) a fraction of unburnt combustible fuels are drawn from the flue then, in combination with the air is reinjected from below through the bed ignited fuel in the primary combustion chamber re.
As only an unselected fraction of the fumes is thus recycled, only part of the unburnt products from combustion primary benefits from post-combustion, the rest continuing its direct evacuation into the atmosphere at temperature still high.
In another variant embodiment (French patents

Cain 330 ~ 98 ~) the device: L includes several contiguous and increasing temperature combustion zones.
Conventionally; primary combustion takes place in a fuel pool arranged on a grid. She is followed by a first post-combustion of the fumes by their .second passage above or in the rear fraction of the mass of fuel in ignition or even a second : post-combustion of ga ~ eified substances by cracking during the first post-combustion and don’t the inflammation is related to the presence of particles in ignition in the exhaust gases this which requires locating nearby combustion chambers immediate from the primary focus and not at a certain distance and for example in the relaxation rooms described above (GB-1828644 patent).
,.
.: ,, Therefore, with this device, we deplore the rejection in the atmosphere of smoke maybe neutral but having still a very high temperature.
A result which the invention aims to obtain is an app-similar to combustion of simple design which does not reject a ltmosphere as neutral smoke and low temperature.
To this end, it relates to a combustion appliance.
tion which, in addition to a primary combustion chamber, includes on the main product discharge duct of the combustion towards the chimney, at least two rooms so, in addition to their baffling slowing the flow of gases burnt, promote heat exchange and cause relaxation of these ~ az, this device being characterized:
- in that, in such a way that each relaxation room also builds a combustion chamber, independently from the main duct:
each room from the second is connected directly tement to the primary home by a pipe, each room is connected to an air inlet pipe and, - in that the air inlet of each of the expansion chambers the last one has a lower flow rate than that required saire to a total combustion of imbr ~ les which reach it.
The invention will be clearly understood using the description tion below made, by way of nonlimiting example, in look at the attached drawing which schematically represents, such a device seen in perspective and in section through ducts.
This appliance comprises a primary combustion chamber 1 closed mayor like that of a stove of a boiler, a domestic or incinerator or open hearth such as that a chimney hearth which can obviously also include any means of recovering the heat of primary combustion mayor.
This device burns self-combustible solid bodies such as coal, wood and certain wastes for example ~.

Ashes and incombustible bodies fall into a ashtray 3.
With primary air, the fumes 4 from this primary combustion rise naturally and are evacuated by at least one main duct 5.
This main duct 5 brings this aix and these fumes 4 in a relaxation chamber 6 from which these fumes have their exit slowed down by a baffling advantageously formed by at least one outlet duct 7 which, on the one hand, crosses get it ~ -~. ... ... .

To this deten-te chamber 6 is also connected a primary air inlet pipe 101 preferably taken from outside.
Relaxation combined with bickering greatly promotes intimate mixture of this air primary and combustible particles which, in contact with igni-tion particles conveyed by ~ umées, ignite.
The ~ umées 14 lssues of the second combustion are at : Their turn, through a main conduit 7, sent to another detention room 16 from where they cannot leave only by baffling formed by at least one main pipe 17 which, on the one hand, crosses the upper wall 18 of the second relaxation chamber 16 and penetrates about a third of the:
height of this room and, on the other hand, is offset by relative to the main inlet duct 7.
In this second expansion chamber 16 is similarly:
corded a primal air supply line 102.
Through these successive bickering and relaxation, the air previ i mayor and ~ umées 14 combine to produce the same result to re-ignite unburned and by that perfect the combus-tion. :
We can thus multiply the relaxation rooms and by exernple in prevoi.r at molns a third 26 receiving air primary by a pipe 103 and the ~ burnt az 2 ~ from the combustion in the second chamber.
If by its direct connection to the primary fireplace, the first bedroom 6 is, via the main conduit. 5, assured of receive .particles in ignition, it is not the same of the following 16, 26.

The upper wall 28 of the last expansion chamber 26 is crossed by the main conduit 27 which, on the one hand, also enters the last chamber 26 on approximately one third of its height, and, on the other hand, is keyed relative to to the main conduit 17 for entering this chamber 26.
Thanks to these successive combus-tions and to the exchange prolonged thermal between the fumes and, on the one hand, the walls relaxation rooms then, on the other hand, the surrounding air these chambers,: The smoke 3 ~ is neutral and moreover is at very low temperatures.
This surrounding air can then obviously be captured by a sheath 35 connected to a hood or a covering 36 envelop-at least partially pant the device.
To offer larger exchange areas with surrounding air, tent rooms can be spaced from each other and volumes 9, 19, 29 as well reserved between rooms can be used as oven cooking and / or heater.
Certain hinges 6, 16, 26 and / or certain volumes 9, 19, 29 can also. be used to heat water.

In each of the air inlet pipes 101, 102, 103 prirnary to the tenting chambers is interposed a register 131, 132, 133 to adjust the primary air flow to a value at most equal to the flow rate required for combustion unburned which. get there given the wealth decreasing of the burnt gases reaching the successive chambers sives.
