Ceux-ci montrent:
Figure 1, une vue de côte d'un wagonnet de transport;
Figure 2, une vue de dessus du wagonnet de la figure l;
Figure 3, une coupe partielle, en elevation, par le plan median d'une station de bombage;
The subject of the invention is a device intended to transport a sheet of glass, suspended from clip-shaped hooking members, through a oven, a bending station equipped with press tools and if necessary a quenching station, device consisting killed by a wagon traveling on a rail placed above of these various stations and on which a frame is mounted carrier equipped with a horizontal sill which receives the hooking bodies and which penetrates down into the oven enclosure.
To bend a hanging glass sheet has such a transport wagon and brought to the temperature ture desired, it is important to put it in place precisely between the press tools and one has to take care of it all the more as its curvature is more pronounced killed. For this purpose, it is known to install on one press tools a guide fork which frames and holds one of the clamps during the press closure, see French patent 20 1,020,465 issued in 1952.
When you have to make sheets with a very strong curvature and especially leaves with an accentuated fold, the sheet must be placed with particular precision. So he is desirable not to simply fix its position . ~
1 ~ 4 ~ 757 using the aforementioned guide fork, but at contrary to ~ ix with as great a precision as possible the position of the entire suspension system at bending station.
The object of the invention is therefore to create a device for transport of the aforementioned type which meets these conditions and which, in particular, reduces to the strict minimum even the large glass sheet offsets, similar to those which may may result from expansion at temperatures at which the device is submitted.
The transport device according to the invention is characterized ensure that the bending station on the one hand and the wagon on the other hand are provided with coupling members which cooperate rent to immobilize the latter above the press, the horizontal sill being rigidly fixed to the wagon in the middle and mounted with horizontal sliding at its other fixing points, the coupling piece of the wagon being itself placed in the middle of it this .
The combination of these measures eliminates or in any case reduce the position differences of the wagon to a minimum which could come from dilations or deportations of the supporting frame and the wagon itself.
The annoying extension caused by the dilation of this frame when it enters the oven as we know heating may exceed 10 mm when the wagon has a length of 2 to 3 meters. Even when you equip the fork press for guiding the tongs, position differences of the latter, which are of the order of indicated size, cause leaf deflection glass when it reaches the desired position at last moment before the press closes.
Giving the wagon a precise position and reproducible has the advantage of avoiding even these shifts leading to a lack of precision; couple the wagon by its medium makes that the whole of the dilation, inevi-table, is distributed symmetrically on both sides and that the suspension clips remain symmetrical; the particular method of fixing the support sill acts 47 ~ 7 in the same way. We thus manage to avoid practical-the danger of deporting the clamps and consequently of the glass sheet outside their middle position.
Specific implementations and developments-The invention is the subject of secondary claims.
A preferred example of implementation of the invention is described by means of the drawings. These show:
Figure 1, a side view of a transport wagon;
Figure 2, a top view of the wagon of the figure l;
Figure 3, a partial section, in elevation, by the median shot of a bending station;
Figure 4, a top view of the bending station shown in Figure 3.
The transport wagon has a rigid chassis 1 in the form of a rectangular tube on which are mounted two bearings 2 axis carriers 3 intended for sup-carry the wheels 4. These wheels run on rails 5 above the glass sheet heating furnace and different work stations.
The chassis l carries, downwards, tie rods 6 and 7, which receive a sill 8, parallel to the chassis 1.
This sill is rigidly fixed in the middle, by example by welding, on the tie rod 6, itself placed at the middle of the chassis 1. The fixing on the tie rods 7 is made by means of ears 9 welded ala part of the sill, each of which is assembled on a pair of matching ears 10 forming a yoke at the ends of tie rods 7, through bolts 11 passing through horizontal lights 12.
This attachment has enough play to allow pieces in question to slide horizontally.
The sill 8 in turn supports, preferably by welding, a median tie rod 14 as well as a front tie rod and 114 '~ ~ 57 .
- 3a -a rear tie rod 15, which carry a lower sill rieure 16 parallel to the sill 8 on which the clamps in turn rest through the median of suitable lines 17. The sill 16 is again rigidly attached to the center tie 14, for example by welding, as shown in the figure, and sliding rise at the ends of the tie rods 15 by '' 757 ' the intermediary of a yoke 18 provided with horizontal lights the 19 receiving swells 20 which pass through the sill 16.
In the middle of chassis 1, and on the side, is mounted a coupling piece 24 which includes two ports guide tees 25 projecting at some distance one of the other so as to form a narrowing slot in its middle part, as shown in figure 1. This slit is intended, as shown in Figure 3, ~ receive a ga] and coupling.
The chassis 1 has, at one of its ends, a another coupling piece 28, in which a stud, not represented, but belonging to the motor system, which is not not shown in the figure either, penetrates at the time to drive the transport wagon from a work station next.
Figures 3 and 4 show the working mode of the bending station immobilizer.
All the equipment of the bending station is mounted on a frame 29. The main organs are:
two complementary bending tools 30 and 31 which constitute kill the press and are depicted schematically. These two tools, which have on their ~ higher ords housings 32 intended to receive, during the bending, the fixing clamps 33 are mounted on jacks 34 by through the rods of jacks 35.
The frame 29 still supports the rails 5 and the members which co-operate with the coupling piece 24 wagon; these consist of a coupling roller plement 39 place at the end of a rocking lever 40 able to pivot on an axis 38 inside the bearing 41, itself screwed onto a console 42 carried by the frame 29. A double action cylinder 43 allows to tilt the lever 40 through an axis 45, to make lower or raise the coupling roller 39. The latter is arranged in the median plane MM of the bombing device ge, so that there is perfect symmetry.
Generally, we are more general and in hori-zontales called through ovens, the wagon of .
'75 ~ 7 transport must according to the invention be adjusted with respect to the press.
In pit installations including the furnace, or at least his last chamber, is placed under the bending press, the precise adjustment of the transport wagon can still not on the press itself, but in the chamber oven placed underneath. Then you have to take care that the suspension device which goes vertically up the wagon from the oven to the bending press, does not allow no horizontal offset of the wagon.
