Abstract
sistema de iluminação e acoplador de injeção de luz para o mesmo. a presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de iluminação que tem uma ou mais ponteiras de luz capazes de guiar a luz, cada uma compreendendo um núcleo e duas faces opticamente lisas. uma cavidade adjacente a duas faces opticamente lisas tem uma abertura e uma superfície reflexiva-transmissiva oposta à abertura. uma cobertura que tem uma fonte de luz é adjacente e obstrui a abertura. uma porção maior de qualquer luz emitida a partir da fonte de luz é refletida pela superfície reflexiva-transmissiva da cavidade e é injetada nas ponteiras de luz e uma porção menor de qualquer luz emitida pela fonte de luz é transmitida através das superfícies reflexivas-transmissivas da cavidade e emitida a partir do sistema de iluminação. um acoplador de injeção de luz também é apresentado, que tem um compartimento opticamente transmissivo e adequado usado para acoplar as extremidades de pelo menos uma ponteira de luz, deste modo formando um sistema de iluminação.
