A method of transmitting legacy format data over a high-traffic wireless communication network, the method comprises accessing the wireless communication network; receiving first data in accordance with a first protocol, wherein the first data is transmitted by a first station accessed to wireless communication reduction; and transmitting the second data according to a second protocol to the first station, where the first protocol is downward compatible with the second protocol.
