Abstract
EQUIPAMENTO PARA INSPEçãO SUBMARINA DE TUBULAçõES RìGIDAS E MéTODO OPERACIONAL. é descrito um processo e um equipamento que permite avaliar a integridade de uma tubulação por intermédio de um equipamento mecânico de fixação (1), composto por dois braços mecânicos (2, 3) que abraçam a tubulação a ser inspecionada. Um filme radiográfico é instalado em um dos braços mecânicos (2) enquanto que em outro braço mecânico (3) é instalada a sede (4) do disparador radioativo (41). Ambos os braços mecânicos (2, 3) são conectados a um corpo central (5) e a um mecanismo de fechamento (6). O método de operação para inspeção submarina de tubulações rígidas compreende, dentre outras, as seguintes etapas: - descida de uma cesta contendo uma pluralidade de equipamentos mecânicos de fixação (1), já com os filmes radiográficos (12) devidamente instalados, até o fundo do mar; - instalação de equipamentos mecânicos de fixação (1) no trecho de tubulação a ser inspecionado; - instalação de um disparador radioativo (41) na sede própria localizada em um dos braços mecânicos (3) do equipamento mecânico de fixação (1); - acionamento do disparador radioativo (41) e impressão no filme radiográfico (12); e - coleta dos equipamentos mecânicos de fixação (1) e posterior análise dos resultados.RIGID PIPE UNDERWATER INSPECTION EQUIPMENT AND OPERATING METHOD. It is described a process and equipment that allows the integrity of a pipe to be evaluated by means of a mechanical fixing equipment (1), consisting of two mechanical arms (2, 3) that embrace the pipe to be inspected. A radiographic film is installed in one of the mechanical arms (2) while in another mechanical arm (3) the seat (4) of the radioactive trigger (41) is installed. Both mechanical arms (2, 3) are connected to a central body (5) and a closing mechanism (6). The operation method for subsea inspection of rigid pipes comprises, among others, the following steps: - descent from a basket containing a plurality of mechanical fastening equipment (1), with the radiographic films (12) properly installed to the bottom. from the sea; - installation of mechanical fixation equipment (1) in the pipe section to be inspected; - installing a radioactive trigger (41) in its own seat located on one of the mechanical arms (3) of the mechanical fastening equipment (1); - triggering the radioactive trigger (41) and printing on the radiographic film (12); and - collection of mechanical fixation equipment (1) and subsequent analysis of results.
