Compostos de ferrocênio substituídos compreendendo pelo menos um substituinte oleofílico pendente em pelo menos um dos grupos ciclopentadienila do mesmo, e um ânion não coordenador, compatível, inerte e processos para uso dos mesmos como ativadores de catalisadores para polimerizações por adição ou como agentes oxidantes para sínteses de complexo metálico.
