Abstract

PROCESSO PARA OXIDAçãO EM FASE LìQUIDA, E, REATOR DE COLUNA DE BOLHAS São revelados um processo e aparelho otimizados para realizar de forma mais eficiente e económica a oxidação em fase líquida de um composto oxidável. Tal oxidação em fase líquida é realizada em um reator de coluna de bolhas que permite uma reação altamente eficiente a temperaturas relativamente baixas. Quando o composto oxidado é para-xileno e o produto da reação de oxidação é ácido tereftálico bruto (CTA), tal produto CTA pode ser purificado e separado por técnicas mais económicas do que as que poderiam ser empregadas se o CTA fosse formado por um processo convencional de oxidação a alta temperatura.
