Abstract

COMPOSIçõES SELADORAS E OBTURANTES LIBERADORAS DE GáS Composições seladoras e obturantes para uso na obturação e/ou selagem de um canal de raiz. A composição seladora e obturante inclui um material polimerizável que se contrai quando polimerizado. A composição também inclui um componente liberador de gás que compensa, pelo menos parcialmente, a contração causada pela polimerização do material polimerizável. O componente liberador de gás compensa a contração de polimerização criando minúsculas bolhas de gás no material polimérico que produzem uma expansão. O componente liberador de gás pode ser um ácido e uma base tais como ácido cítrico e bicarbonato de sódio, que quando misturados desprendem dióxido de carbono. A composição pode também incluir um agente dispersante para dispersar as bolhas de gás por toda a composição.
